I'm not going to lie, as a construction worker I deal with other people's bullshit all day while listening to pneumatic and electrical tools. It's stressing. I come home and sit on my porch, fire up a doobie and listen to this or baroque. It's so calming. I feel the tightness in my body disappear and the negative thoughts disapate. I think of what soldiers in alexander's armies thought as they entered new worlds to conquer. I stargaze and contemplate the mechanic works of the universe and sit in awe of God's work. Truly inspiring this is.

I just smoked and am watching/listening to this for first time it's funny what you said, I am a commercial painter, female. Sometimes do residential but I work at construction sites most of the time. There's allllllll kinds of bullshit to deal with on sites, noise etc. I love coming home and smoking sitting in my backyard watching the sky thinking about life on other planets and I like thinking about what people are doing in multiple different cities all over the world. I'll think about perspectives of peoples lives in the past. Imagined as well as historical figures. Like how you mentioned about Alexander's armies. Get lost in my head doing that sometimes. But it is truly fascinating.

By accident, I fell asleep to Joseph Campbell interview on Netflix. Sitar music was playing in the back ground as I fell asleep, i was in that in between place of sleep and awake. I felt my spiritual body fall out of my physical body and knew instantly that I could astral travel. I went to a couple of places. The next time I intentionally put on sitar music as I was falling to sleep and held the space between sleep and awake and had a past life regression. Pretty cool. I have no back ground knowledge of this guitar or meditation really. I wonder if I was Hindu in another life time.
