This is going to sound really silly but this video just blew my mind. It made me realize that like, you can just open your journal and do a fun spread of WHATEVER YOU WANT! There are no rules. This should be obvious, right? For weeks I've had the itch to start a fancy 'bullet journal' and do fancy themes but using bullet journals as planners has never worked for me and it just stresses me out. Then I thought about book journaling, but I read really slow and don't need a book journal. This made me realize, I can just do a creative journal. For anything. There are no rules. It's funny how the 'unwritten rules' get in our head from trends on social media.. sometimes we see other people do things a certain way and we begin thinking we have to do things that way too. Well, this video helped break that pattern. Seeing you make this beautiful spread has given me the boost to crack open my unused journal and just have fun with it, so thank you!

That’s exactly why I started yesterday, been struggling with journaling and the other day my mother was talking to me about a scrapbook KZbin video she had seen. I watched a few videos myself, after that conversation, bought supplies yesterday and did my first page 😊 now I’m watching more videos lol

that's really true! at first, i'm hesitant because i always think that ‘i need to make my journal super duper pretty, too’ but i realized that your journal represents your inner self and it speaks VOLUME about your personality so i personally think there are no rules in creating a journal as long as it's from your heart.

I love journaling but all the videos I watch feel so unobtainable when I compare it to my own process. All that to say, thank you for keeping in the moments where you were figuring out placement of the pictures, envelope etc. You created something really lovely without it being super intimidating
