My goodness, the spirit of Venice has invaded The Backs. What I remember from 50 years ago is 2 or 3 punts on the river with undergraduates in boaters, glasses of Pimms in hand , punting very slowly down, so as to not spill their drinks as they lazily discussed weighty matters - like how late they were in handing in their essay and what excuse they were going to give to their tutor. We were onlookers, thinking that's the life. I'm so glad it's egalitarian now and everyone can have a delightful ride. Enjoyed your video very much. Many thanks, Sakuntala Basu
