There's nothing terrible about relaxing your hair. Do what you think is best for you (after all there's nothing one can do without the slightest comment from people). I for one, have been relaxed for as long as I can remember and I can not see myself natural any time soon as I hate the stress of it. My hair was once like yours. With the split ends and all. Just use the right products, trim as often as you can, drink enough water, and love your hair.

I'm afraid it's too late for my hair, and I've already done the worst. Thanks for the love ❤️

I used this same kit precisely normal to relax my undergrowth my hair is same length as yours but contrary to what you said that 1 base creme is not enough i will have to disagree i didnt even finish 1 it remained little because i only relaxed my new growth of 2 months and no.2 i only used a satchet of the shampoo it had a lot of foam on first use i was shocked when your shampoo wasn't foaming then i knew something was wrong

I tried going natural and I couldn't bear it my hair was rough or maybe I just didn't have enough knowledge as to how to maintain my hair but it was hard for me so I went back to relaxer

Nothing is wrong with relaxing your hair, your hair care routine is for your sanity. That being said, the moment you used this relaxer was the mistake, unfortunately. They don't teach you but all of the "NO LYE" relaxers/texturizers are made of calcium hydroxide or lithium, these leave mineral deposits on your hair follicles and eventually they get so hard that you are unable to keep them moisturized and eventually it will just start to break off. I wish they would be more forthcoming about the results of these "easy DIY No Lye" relaxers. Ifyou need to relax, texlax, always use professional relaxers that are made with sodium hydroxide instead, just protect your scalp with more vaseline to prevent burns instead of this "no lye" nonsense.

This is exactly why I just go to a professional for my relaxers.. I don't understand the science behind it all

@freespiritedaquarius913 I'm unemployed and relaxing hair at the salon is so expensive here in South Africa. So I was trying to save money 💰 but I think it's time I went to the salon now 😆 🤣 😂

Darling your hair is beautiful, this looks like breakage from how you style your hair and dryness during braids or protective styles

Next time try finger detangling your hair in smaller section before combing with a wide tooth comb.

OHHH NOOOOO. YOU BACK ON THAT TERRIBLE STUFF. Even after it was revealed it causes cancer. Here in the U.S we are sueing the companies because of it. Also if you going to do this terrible thing to your hair. 1. Protein treatments once a month 2. Moisturise your hair daily with water 3. You have lots of damage ends go to a stylist to cut it off.
