Hey Hunter, why don't you fly out the TBD now that it's got custom loadouts that let you carry 3 x 500 lbs bombs + 6 x 100 lbs bombs? All of them drop individually now, so it's an absolute monster. But as someone with 3,000+ matches with the TBD, I strongly advise that you do not take 6 100 pounders, take 4 or 2 instead, because resistance will appear before you are able to use your fifth or sixth. If you are attacked while you still have six 100 pounders, you will be too heavy.

@@Hunter_i86 Hello, my friend Hunter! The TBD is at BR 1.0 of USA. I've put a lot of effort into writing the exact playstyle which I used to get an *18 kill run!* (lost replay due to reinstalls). Might be a long read, but it's a small price to pay to become an absolute master of the TBD. You'll have insane amounts of fun. It will be in a series of replies.

*Pre-match setup* Make sure it is spaded first 12.7mm: Ground Targets 7.62mm: Armoured Targets Make 4 custom loadouts. First one has 3 x 500 lbs in the middle and then 2 x 100 lbs, second one 3 x 500 lbs + 4 x 100 lbs, third one 3 x 500 lbs + 6 x 100 lbs Fourth one, make it have nothing - this is so that if you lack the SP to take bombs, you can still take it out and use the fifty cal. 1.0 Second bomb fuse. Do note that the fifty cal is an extremely good weapon, it was responsible for 12 of the 18 kills on that run. If you want an even better video, take out the F3F alongside it, Universal for 7.62mm and Ground Targets for 12.7mm as well as Bombs. EASILY the best flight performance of any biplane in the game, can even beat I-15s if you just dogfight them vertically. Super fast for a biplane, climbs like crazy, bombs drop individually.

*Situations* "(What to do when...)" What to do when fighter: for this you need to have gotten rid of all your 500 lbs bombs to be manueverable and energetically capable enough to deal with the fighter. For the following advice, note that these fighters (monoplanes) should be considered biplanes: I-16s, A5Ms, Fokkers The TBD can dogfight, even with 2 or 4 100 lbs bombs, nearly any monoplane in the game. If you're dealing with a biplane, you need to gunner-turnfight it, as follows: 1. Dodge initial pass of enemy fighter 2. Switch to gunner, switch control schemes 3. Continuously pull upwards with your keyboard 4. As you continue to loop, blast the fighter out of the air. (Then switch control schemes back) Note that the essence is to pull manuevers that cause the biplane to need a few more seconds to get guns on you, and in those few seconds you shoot them down with your gunner, using your keyboard to keep turning - so the above is not a strict procedure. What to do when you need to strafe a tank: Once again, only viable once 500 pounders are gone. Stall yourself out above the tank. Use your flaps to flip yourself over, but SPARINGLY as they rip past 192 km/h and retract very slowly. Then throttle to 0% and strafe its crew out. What to do when you need to deal with an SPAA: Get out of its sight, get considerable altitude, and then from long range and using the bomb sight drop a 100 lbs bomb on it.

*Mastering Positioning* The TBD has quite poor energy retention - after some bombing runs, you will be low in altitude. Luckily, it also has a very low climbing speed, allowing you to enter a climb quickly. So, when you're running low, put your plane into a decent climb angle - 190 km/h is a good speed - and take 30+ seconds to climb off to your side of the battlefield. This will be extremely helpful both offensively and defensively. It is miles better than never climbing and spending the rest of the game in a poor energy state. Be aware that its flaps have an extremely low rip speed of 190 km/h for Combat, lowering even more for Takeoff and Landing, but they are very powerful.

that kvt type of players are the real problem of top tier rn for both realistic and simulator ground battles. They only have m1a1 aim, kvt and wolfpack and they think they are gonna do very well in ground but when cas shows up, those guys have to face with reality of having lineups.

If You want to combat enemy air then You have to spawn in spaa right away to position yourself And it will often be 1 spaa vs 4 helis and one or more jets. One aircraft aware of spaa is a job for atleast one spaa and they are up and ready at start and so the spaa has to. Someone has to man up and realize that for others to pew pew tanks someone has to take this role so others can pew pew at tanks. I actually enjoy spaa so it is easier for me to take it but I would like to play tanks too you know ESPECIALLY that I have to defend from tanks anyway because despite me pinging tanks and asking for backup for minutes ALL of you selfish morons can't be bothered to actually play the team game for and especially for someone as lowly as spaa player. So yeah screw all of you, enjoy your cas. Years of playing spaa and definitely below 10% of calls for backup answered and then most of You die once and leave XD ALL of YOU are the problem.

In sim battles how likely are you to get in mixed battles and in that scenario, how can you tell if you're faving a friendly or enemy? These are some things I've been asking myself.

I know friendly and enemy from the shape of the vehicle, the position of the vehicle in the map and its path. In top tier SB ground battles it is always all nations vs USSR and China, in this Tiger UHT run the main and common enemy that is expected to be faced is T tank series, Pantsir S1, TOR M1, and Kamovs. If you see an Abrams it is friendly, if you see a Roland it is friendly ... etc.

Sim has set brackets. You can look at them and see what vehicles are allowed (to know if there's captured or not). It's always either Cold war or WW2 teams
