Wow, that's a nice tent. The side shields on the heater, provide protection for the windows, but if you leave them on, I suspect that they will soak up the heat and radiate it as well, making it put out more heat in the winter. Great video.

I've watched a few reviews on this tent over the past couple of years. And don't recall a significant con about it. One of them was by Survival Russia (I believe his name is Lars) about 2 years ago and apparently has done another with in the past month, that I'll be watching that as well. It's also be used as a ice fishing shanty, hence the removable floor and srew in tent pegs. I'm glad to see they hadn't made any significant changes. 'If ain't broken, don't fix it'

Hi . I got one of these tents 3 years ago now ,sent to me in the UK .I got the lot what you have, but in green . They are great .Still use all the time on fishing trips. Going this week again for a week. Did you order from Russia? As I want a new one but the cube version. I didn't know they can send to the UK again? There are small ventilation openings around the inside of the tent that you can open. The best place to dry your gloves, socks and cap are the mesh pockets at the very top center of the tent. The piece that you found and thought that it was a cover for the tent is actually, if memory serves, an inner skin for the tent when camping in really cold weather.

Great tent Except when it rain the one thing I found in UK is an overhand entry way so no rain gets in. Simple thing but as it appears now to never stop raining in UK we need over hang porch to stop the tent becoming a pool lol

Don't worry please, this tent as well as other our tents are perfectly water proof. However, in case of strong rain it's recommended not to use a stove inside and close the stove jack (a pipe hole in the roof) with the velcro shield.

The stove pipe one can make sure it fixed and I am sure your tent is is great for especially snowy conditions. It just my experience with Coleman tent which did not have a vertical porch. Like igloo they have an entrance porch.

I've seen a bunch of videos on this tent, and the one thing I wish it had was a decent vestibule. There's obviously plenty of space inside for stuff you'd ordinarily put in a vestibule, but it's less about space than that some items are best left outside or don't need to be inside, like filthy boots, shovel, axe, saw, chopped wood, etc. Plus, if it's covered on all sides and with its own zipper or door, it could reduce the escape of warm air from the tent to the outdoors, or the rush of cold air inside, and keep things warmer inside. I mean it's already too heavy to carry on your back so what's another 5-10lbs? I guess that you could jerry-rig a 4-season tent with openings on either side as a makeshift vestibule, if it's tall enough.

Adding a vestibule would actually reduce the need for as much space inside the tent itself, and you could add an option to also put a stove inside it instead of inside the tent, since they're generally not used when sleeping.

I’m shocked that more people don’t use fishing shelters instead of tents, especially for winter camping/ hot tent setups. The HH ratings and general construction is normally much higher quality.

Our perfectly insulated hot tents with wood stoves and the additional thick insulated floors which has velcro ports for ice-holes (as well as the normal thin floors also have them) are the best solutions for ice-fishing. In fact, you can comfortably live and do ice-fishing at the tent for days if having a good stock of firewood. Strong winds and freezing temperatures is not a problem at all.

Our expedition tent is only 2 layers and designed for Alaskan temperatures.
