I have a question: women have the opportunity to pray at home, but how do they get the reward for people who walk to the mosque on foot and who arrive before the imam begins his qutba, and if a person living away from flies can he get the same reward for people who walk? In the sense that if they take the bus and get off at a stop possibly close but not too close and walk from there to the mosque do they still have the reward or not? (I do not speak English very well)

I like rain. No I love the rain. Really. It's very comforting, it makes the surrounding area a lot more cold & when I get angry I usually hope that it would rain cause it calms me down. Truly a blessing. I don't know what I'm gonna do if it never rains again.

For those of us living in non-Muslim countries, it is especially important to prepare a will, and it is even more important if one does not have family. A common misconception is that one has to be wealthy or own property to write a will. However, the reality is that a will is more than just about wealth and property. Following are a few points to keep in mind when preparing a will. *even before having an official will, one should express their desire to have a proper Islamic funeral to their family and those who are close to them *even before preparing an official will, one should express to those close to them and family that they want their estate divided up according to the laws of the sharee’ah *make sure that in your will you state very clearly that you are a Sunni Muslim and want to have a strictly Sunni Muslim funeral; perhaps mention the issue of the washing and shrouding, the funeral prayer and that you want to be buried in a Muslim cemetery or Muslim section of one *you might want to state certain people by name whom you want to appoint to do your ghusl and lead salah over you; you might also want to state that a certain person(s) is/are not to lead your funeral prayer *include in your will that you do not want your family to do anything that is bid’ah or that contravenes the sharee’ah as part of your funeral; things such as reciting Quran at the gravesite, holding khatmas, communal du’as at the gravesite and wailing there etc… *people are very much affected and moved when a will is read; take advantage of that and include in your will advice to your family to fear Allah and establish salah and live according to Islamic laws *state, in no uncertain terms, that your belongings/property are to be distributed according to the rules of inheritance in the Islamic sharee’ah; you may want to mention the names of scholars (or organizations) to be referred to in case of disagreement on any issue *remember that we are only free to will up to a maximum of 1/3 of our wealth to other than actual heirs or for an endowment and the like *state clearly that your debts are to be paid off before the estate is divided up; make a note of any outstanding debts to people *if one has young children, they should state whom they want to be their guardians and whom they want to handle the financial affairs of those children Once again, make sure to speak to your family and those whom you trust about these issues so they are ware of your wishes and then respect these wishes when you do pass.
