Everyone, sorry about the audio. This was my first real attempt using software to remove background noise. Before I posted this video, my audio expert in Australia flat out told me it wasn't quite right but I already knew it (I'm my own worst critic sometimes) and will be working even harder to improve the sound quality in future videos. I think I'm on the right track.
@Leebabins10 жыл бұрын
Using noise removal for background noise is never recommended. It adds that washy/phase sound and really ruins a quality audio recording. Room tone is much preferred.

Background noise makes videos more relaxing I think. Because its like a kind of white noise that makes a nice base for all the sounds on top. I loved this video. That Mont Blanc pen is incredible. could you do a video of you dismantling it completely and re-assembling it? or is that not possible>

Never thought it would happen, but by watching all of your pen videos you have given me a deep interest in Pens. I have been inspired to actually go out, buy a fountain pen and start improving my penmanship. I now take a great interest in pens, and despite being 16 use a fountain pen every day in school. Thankyou for helping me find this interest! :)

I was a bit shocked at the $600 pen price... until I began to mull over some of my own hobby purchases... and that is a mighty nice pen. I really like the rear-gate action... I'm a sucker for fine mechanisms like that. Nothing comes close to writing with your father's boyhood pen though... that was a great share... and I'm glad it turned ended up writing so well.

You should defiantly put a new sac in that little old pen! It's stunning! Sacs are very easy too put in pens, it's ares easy as using shellac and gluing it to the end of the grip section bit, then putting some french chalk on it. It would only coast around 30 dollars :) great video. THANKS!

A pen video! Awesome. The Mont Blanc Boheme is incredible, the craftmanship that goes into that is very impressive. The mechanical actions appear to be so smooth as well. An idea for drawing out of the hat, you could use initials of your patrons? That way, they keep their privacy, but get to see if they've won or not. Either way, I think it's a great idea, and can't wait to see another pen review video!

Thanks, great tip. Pens are nice. A decent writing instrument. Woah so cool Yes Deep quality red ink. I have a Parker Sonner matte black with gold trimmings pen. Gold trim and clip, they got some real gold also (plating or something). Beautiful nice pen. About 80€ maybe, can't remember exactly. And I got Parker Quink replacement ink cartridges to use for it in a box. Pleasure to write with it. Rollerball. Parka'

Despite looking really nice and having a price of 600 bucks along with the sick opening mechanism I didnt like the inconsistent ink distrubution and it felt like it was not touch sensitive which was very well seen when you were writing the word "away" - writing the first letter the pen lacks the required ink pressure to provide the clear writing along with the grip and paper touch feeling making it somewhat unreliable
@renovatiovr10 жыл бұрын
And this problem has 2 edges on a lot of pens. Some give too much ink making it feel like it leaks, others like this one - dont provide enough. It is really a challenge to find that very very one. In the end the purpose of the pen is to write as clear as possible, so 600$ should first go into the writing mechanism and not the opening system.
@RelaxingASMR10 жыл бұрын

RelaxingASMR It looks like a Wearever Supreme. You'd use a size 16 sac. I'm out of 16s, but have a couple 15s (they would be kinda tight, but would work) and shellac I could send you. If you're interested, let me know. Richardspens.com is a great place for repair tutorials.
