If you still don't know to get rid of a stack of items Just go into your inventory and click the items and move the cursor/mouse out of your inventory menu and right click.

A little recommendation, if you want to explore, such as mining, grab one of your worse pickaxes or make sure you have backup pickaxes, or maybe you want to go mob fighting, do the same but with swords and torch’s. And if you happen to go mining use your stone or iron pick (Don’t make gold tools they are only good for enchanting) to mine stone and coal and other normal items but finding iron, obsidian, diamonds, gold, lapis, redstone, if you are lucky emeralds with your diamond pickaxe to mine those, just to save durability

Also if you see a mob spawner (look like cages and surrounded by mossy cobblestone with a mob inside) don’t break it, put torch’s around it. mine out the area and the rest i don’t know you can look up, how to make mob spawner farm. You have also probably noticed but if you break a block with a torch on it the torch will break.
