Hey R, just a heads up, the reason why the world goes so deep now is to accomodate for larger caves. If you go poking around in the new generation down there you might find some incredible stuff. Also, y = -57 is the best level to mine on for diamonds now. That said, ore generation has changed significantly, you won't find all ores on all levels, I'd suggest looking up an ore distribution map, in general exploring caves is probably now the fastest way to get diamonds, though dangerous.

My grandfather passed away a couple years ago and I find myself wanting for memories of him. I have objects, pictures and stories, but sometimes I wish I could just hear his voice one more time. His laugh. These videos are a small comfort to me. Knowing that, it was because of your grandkids that you decided to begin playing Minecraft, but also that they will have something like this to come back to in the future. Seeing you playing something they once loved and hearing your voice. This probably sounds quite morbid, sorry. I just wanted to thank you for these videos and the effort you put into them. I get a little reminder of my grandfather watching these and it is healing in a way. So, thank you once again.

Hey mate, love the videos. Really recommend you try and get the “fortune III” enchant on your pick axe as that will essentially triple the amount of ores and valuables you mine. With the enchant one single block of ore such as diamond has a chance of giving you 3-4 just from 1 block.

Since the 1.18 update, diamonds still can be found on Y below 12, but are more often appearing when you are closer to the bedrock. So maybe you can search for them on the deepslate area

ive got a couple handy tips for minecraft feel free to use them the dragon has crystals ontop of obsidian pillars (you have to destroy them to be able to kill the dragon) beds will explode in the end when you kill the dragon a new portal will appear you have to build up to it and throw an enderpearl into it

There should be more diamonds in the negatives beneath your mine. Especially at -58. Love the vids tho

Your best bet at finding diamonds now is mining at the level minus 60 range because of the new update

The Picking up blocks sound is missing because in your Sound Settings you have the "Players" sound turned down to Zero. Since you yourself are a player, this means you can't hear any of the sounds your player makes. Like picking up blocks, eating or Footsteps. The descriptions they use aren't terribly easy to understand! Unless something is Bothersome, I usually keep all the sounds at least partially on, to prevent this. Diamonds will no longer be found at level 12, since Game version 1.18. In your version of the game, Diamonds are Most likely to be found at the very deep level of -59 (as close to Bedrock as possible) Though most people will mine a few blocks higher than that for safety. You only found some at level 12 because you had already been in this area before the update. Since you updated the game, you will most likely find all the new Ores like Copper, Amethyst, Calcite, raw Iron and Gold Below level 0 now. Unless you travel very far away from your Base, where you will get new territory to freshly generate. The new generation is Incredible! Love your Minecraft Videos! You've done an Incredible job! @@RelaxingASMR-Gaming I'm so glad you found it useful! I think you might enjoy checking out some of the new Terrain that comes with this update. The new caves are Monumental! If you bring some Obsidian and a Flint n steel to the Nether, you can travel a quick 500 or so blocks and build a portal, which will take you 4,000 blocks away from your home base in the overworld! The quickest way to travel to find new generation. For every 1 block you walk in the Nether, you travel 8 blocks in the Overworld
