Rockabilly will never die and the same goes for swing or big band or jazz etc etc. There will always be an audience for for that kind of music. Hell the crap that passes for top 40 today will be the good old stuff from 10. 20. 30. 40. 50. 60. etc etc years down the line from now.

imho... the sound persons often don't quite comprehend, how to eq her vocals. or turn her vocal mic up, because she's getting lost in the mix...there's several exceptions on yt, one being "hot wire woman" (check this out)! wherein, they are playing acoustic in a tiny room, and you can hear both her vocal, and the instruments with perfect clarity, there's no mud at all. her voice, and her phrasing have many more nuances, more facets, which are being lost by not bringing up the mids and the highs, and tapering off the bottom! most female singers are just the opposite, so unless y'r awake and alert, you just leave the highs, the mids, and the bottom all at 12 o'clock, which works for most women vocalists, but ends up burying her fabulous vocals in the mud. make no mistake, this is a great band!!!!!! the strat- man is superb!!!!!!...... i'd like to hear them do some old bob dylan blues tunes....but she also needs the right mic (an old sm 57 type, not a shitty modern sm 58)! she needs good, crisp, vintage mics ! in fact she might have to bring her own mic...i can't wait
