The venom is not a 'bad' ultimate. It has incredibly strong downforce and the best speed recovery amongst all ultimate cars in the game. Its the best car in some niche gauntlet positions but its not that many. Basically it's extremely strong but nitro is its weakness

My first S class car that was upgraded fully was Koenigsegg Agera RS because of very good offer with this car and some tokens for really cheap, this offer was so good for me and it helped me a lot

I do gauntlet mode for fast extra tokens only, I do races terribly and without boosters, only this is the reason why I play this mode at all and rarely for car hunt and racing pass

Ultimately, the end of season rewards don’t matter. That’s literally the main mindset when I’m grinding MP. I just grind for series score and that’s that. Most of the position rewards really aren’t the best as it was when A9 launched. Literally, I hit about 1 million back in Rush Series which helped progress further in career events. If I was playing A9 China, maybe in Gauntlet, I’d probably try my best since I’m not really the best but for clash, I’m beginning to find the best strategies for some daily events and placing those skills in MP, no matter what car I’m driving. So maybe if I get a chance, I’ll try my best but I don’t think I’ll be hitting higher. I’ll be fine getting top 1000-500 rewards.

Hey DBT, thanks for the upload (liked)! To answer your question - I played seriously in Gauntlet, even after Gameloft replaced the Gauntlet badges with those ridiculous prices (ridiculous partially due to GL shenanigans with the unfair sell prices of the cards, especially the wild cards), but only because I had a personal goal for myself. I wanted to squeeze myself in top 200 of the Elite League. I managed to do that the previous season - quite an achievement for me, as I'm old, not too experienced and low skilled, Windows f2p player 😅 (especially considering that I have only 3 S-class cars, the other 2 cars in my Gauntlet team are Class A and that it was my first season in the Elite). Ever since I don't try as hard as before, but I am slowly reducing the hours I spent in A8 anyway - it is a good and beautiful game (and I rather like the Gauntlet mode), but it is too time consuming for someone who is working full time. Maybe most of the players are still competing seriously in Gauntlet despite the disappointing season rewards. As for your A8 Gauntlet mode videos - me like like me see, whether you use bad or good cars, as long as you enjoy, what you do 😁(BTW, the Agera R is my accelerator as well) Stay safe, everyone 🍀and be well 😇

Only in it for the tokens nowadays. I actually like it, no more stressing over getting into the top 30-50 position. Just do the daily 5 races. Somehow, my defence time is now better.

Yup, I also noticed the improved lap times, about a second (+/- 0.2-0.3) depending on track length, it seems. Probably due to the optimizations the devs made the last update, unfortunately it also means that we didn't go Alien 👽 mode.😅

Gauntlet is literally the reason I get so many cars. I like to slowly improve my skills in that gamemode because its very fun imo. I'd still play it if there were no rewards.

I'm honored.. 👈🫠✨ Edit: Since the daily token rewards in Gauntlet, I try to maintain all three of my accounts (🙄I know, I know, long story but I'm autistic so it's manageable 😅) and to be honest, I'm not really putting 💯% effort into the Gauntlet races because that would be extremely time consuming. After I set a fairly acceptable defending lap time, I go mostly into the daily challenges just double boosted without the tuning. Like you, I don't really care so much about the Gauntlet except for the tokens.🤤
