I had already commented on that before seeing this. I have one and so does my neighbor. Defiantly a 4th gen Pontiac Trans Am and not a Camaro.... granted they share the same chassis and drive train. I could see a non American mistaking them at a glance.

I’m not sure if you read any of the comments that people write in your games but I’ll say it anyway. I absolutely love your channel it , it keeps me company when I’m home on my own so I thank you very much. The only thing I would suggest is show a zoomed in view of map when doing discussion of survive the hunt. I watch on my phone and iPad and it is impossible to see anything. In the second race, I'd say the white car deserved getting put into the wall after spinning the Mazda. I know he need to get around the mazda fast but that was just dirty turning the mazda like that.

It wasn't intentional, it's just the speed difference was immense on probably the worst (single-line) corner for that to happen. I owned up to the mistake. It was difficult to judge in the moment

I agree with the sentiment about the win going to the more deserving car here, but not with respect to any of this being on purpose. As Longbow has said it was a mistake and not intentional; just nice that the accidental instigator of the issues didn’t end up crossing the line first! 😉

@@davidburke2132 I suppose, but it was really challenging. Tbh, I'm not sure what I could have have done. I was already slowing down, hoping I could go wide around Liam, but there really was no way past. And if I had slowed to the speed of the C Class car, I think orange would have won Not intentional, but also a pretty much impossible situation when trying to judge in a split second If anything I think I got the punishment for my actions in the moment, but that the impossible gap the Porsche fit in at end to spin me was wrong

@@longbowxmkiiin my opinion the Mazda is wrong for not pulling over to the side. It’s obvious they weren’t going to defend against an S class and to park in the middle of the turn that way is not smart .

@@flavioa6351 It isn't the Mazda's responsibility to allow Longbow through. The Mazda did nothing wrong and exactly what they should have as it was a battle for position. The Mazda picked a line and stuck to it. The impetus is on the faster car to find a way to pass cleanly. As for what Longbow "should" have done? Technically slowed down enough to go around the outside of the Mazda through that turn rather than just carrying normal speed on the normal line and basically punting the Mazda. The only other "proper" option was to sit behind through the entire turn and wait. Ultimately I think Longbow is right in what they said and they just misjudged how quickly they were going to catch the Mazda in the turn. I drive against a field of slower cars in multiple games to simulate this very thing (passing slower classes in multi class racing) with some regularity and I get things very, very wrong often enough to be fully aware of how difficult it is. I've made Longbow's mistake so many times myself because it is such an easy mistake to make. Trying to navigate notably slower traffic, for position or not, is a genuinely difficult thing in situations like this where being held up by traffic can decide a race. Professional race car drivers make the same mistake too in races that truly matter with race cars worth millions. If I were the race steward I'd have given white enough of a time penalty for them to have finished behind Black team and Orange the same for a 4th place finish. At the least the Porsche shouldn't have tried to force a pass through a gap that just wasn't going to be there. They hadn't even rejoined the track. That said it was also a race amongst friends and I doubt that much, if anything, came from this. ...at least I hope.

I would think running your cars in order from fastest to slowest would be the best. It would give you the best chance of running your fastest cars in clean air and your slower cars would be impeding any faster cars behind them.

I'd love to see a PI- or class-based race but you have to use 1 car from each of 4 different manufacturers (for example Ferrari, Porsche, Ford and Toyota) and you may end up getting an S-class Ferrari and a C-class Toyota but there may be some other ways to run the race!

"Funky rule" idea. If S class is worth 4 pts, A is 3, B 2, and C 1, then what if each teams total just cant exceed a given point total? One of each, as with this video, sums to 10. But what about 12? Is 4 A class cars faster than TWO S, a B and a C? Etc. you get the idea.

That's not a Camaro (1st black one to start in race 3).. That is a 4th generation Pontiac Trans Am. I have one from that gen. Granted it shares the same chassis and engine as a Chevy Camaro SS or Z28 of the era. It's been in gray hot rod primer for years even though I daily drive it, Can't decide on a color. Black works well on them but it's so common...

Hmm... Not a fan of this format. Least in so much as youtube content, didnt feel terribly interesting to watch. I enjoy watching the actual racing and seeing how things interact and develop for myself, rather than just kinda hearing about it is all. Just one fans opinion.
