this is the correct way to buy stuff from locals! Pay more then the fair price. Eamon knows that playing $5 for something that goes for $3 means a lot of them. Even if the food in your van hadn’t expired, it went through two summers in a hot van. That effects the actual amount of time it can safely be stored before consuming it. Optimal food storage conditions are cool/dry/dark.
@halleyevans19803 жыл бұрын
Yes exactly I was going to say you can eat canned food and pasta way past date with no issues, but the point you just made makes complete sense. Also lentil pasta probably spoils faster then regular pasta. I can my own food and I have never eaten one that was bad yet. I store in the cellar which is cool dry and dark.

Hi guys! I think that even though some of the food wasn't expired, it must have gone bad from being for such a long time in a vehicle under the moroccan sun. Yeah, I'm normally of the mind that a lot of expiration dates are "best by" dates...if you store them properly. A nice cool, dark and dry pantry is great for storing the majority of food items. Sun, heat, and humidity are very damaging. Better to be safe and throw out this food and start fresh.

I just enjoyed this video sooo much. The cabin build was nice but this is fun. And your enthusiasm is contagious.
Absolutely love watching you guys travel every where in your awesome home, I hope you know how much laughter and joy you bring people especially in these hard times. You make us all feel like we’re on the adventure with you guys ❤️❤️
