CG really reminds me of Garcello. They both have low voices that can hit some high notes, both smoke, both wear dark clothing, both smile, both wear hats, both have dark colored hair, though Garcello's is brighter than CG, and they both have chill and awesome songs to vibe to. And then CG fits so well with this song. I feel this isn't a coincidence. Love they oddly have so many similarities.

I gotta say, while I liked the covers for Headache and Nerves, I felt like there was something... missing? Wouldn't be able to say what it was, but there was something that made me feel a bit uneasy when I listened to them, like there was one thing that was slightly out of place. That was not the case with this cover for Release, and boy am I glad of that. This one was, in my opinion, as perfect as can be. However, I do still think that Garcello is clearly the only character able to make this song really complete (and that's not just because Cassette Girl does not have the legendary "Tight bars, little man"), though this is a rather close second. And before someone tells me that it's because Release was originally made for Garcello and that it's because of that that I feel like he's better for it, that's not it. Even if a specific song is tailored for a specific character, some other characters can use it just as well (as in the Cassette Girl cover for Promenade), but I feel like Garcello has, at least for now, a little something that makes him fit just perfectly in his songs slightly better than any other character. Once again, that's only my opinion, anyone is free to disagree, especially since I'm only basing my opinion on something that's way more akin to a gut feeling than an actual reflection process on the original music and the cover.

much better than your Nerves version but somehow need to remove those 's' sounds from cassettte girl on a lot of those notes. And perhaps apply a fast fadeout and/or a slightly lower key/pitch change or something on some of thpse sustained/held notes because its quite an abrupt stop/end to a held note imo.
