You're going to love Return to Edan. I had the trilogy as a top read for the year in '23 before I started Return. Afterward, the trilogy has a cemented spot on my all-time favorites list. I also recommend wedging Green Bone Saga in there. Fun look ahead!

Gonna be a good year! I'm also all about Shadows Upon Time, Of Empires and Dust and The Devils and planning on catching up on Red Rising for whenever Red God comes out. Got The Book That Wouldn't Burn here so i can catch up with that and want to start Empire of the Vampire ready for the last one. Been playing catch up the last few years it's nice to have new releases to look forward to.

Great suggestions overall; from those I think I'm looking forward most to Mark Lawrence. Just to add another three I am really exited about: That would be A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett, 2nd book in the Shadow of the Leviathan duology. One of my most favorite authors, so reading this is a no brainer to me. Then there is Written on the Dark, the new novel by Guy Gavriel Kay and Katabasis by RF Kuang. If there's any day one reads for me, it's probably those three. I still have a lot of things to catch up with, so I don't think I could plan for more, but in a perfect world, I will have read all the Suneater books before the last one is published, and the same goes, with a slightly lesser priority, forThe Bound and the Broken by Ryan Cahill.

For me since I’m pretty sure we will be getting it in 2025 since the Final Draft of it is at 89% on his progress bar on his official website it is definitely Twelve Months, the 18th book in The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. The 17th book Battle Ground left us in one hell of a spot and next year will be 5 years since then so I am chomping at the bit to get the next book in the best Urban Fantasy Series ever…

@ it’s my number two favorite Series behind only The Cosmere so yeah I recommend it lol. The first two books are the roughest of the Series and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue but I was gripped from the first page of the third book and in it for the long haul lol

I have books on the blacklist. I'm going to introduce romance books to get out of the slump induced by the Red Rising series. Many of those romances are a good time. For now I have my eyes on Rookie Recovery by Lex Easton but I'm sure I'll find others. This year John Grisham was a pleasant surprise.

Day 1 release for 2025 for me is manga Berserk volume 42,The Climber by Yoshio Nabeta.For Novels Of Empires And Dust By Ryan Cahill,The Devils by Joe Abercrombie,Last Contract Of Isako by Fonda Lee,EOTV 3 by Jay Kristoff,Shadows upon time(will start howling dark soon and will be caught up ) and Twelve months by Jim Butcher(New Dresden Files) and lastly if possible Red God by Pierce Brown will be a day one release!!
