1 year later, the tricks still work for this and for bio-dome. I must say, Jurassic World Evolution and its sequel are probably the only games you can look at a bug not get fixed and be ecstatic.

This was SO flipping helpful! I have recently been able to get my Quetz’s to break out, but only like 3 Pteranodon an aviary will break out and the rest will just stay even if there’s no food or water and I have high escapes on, etc. Much better, thank you!!

Would be cool if for at least for sandbox to let us do it properly, maybe even have an option where the pterosaurs can be contained inside a fence similar to the biosyn fences acting as the air defence system from Dominion.

I feel like they need to change the skin picture system since all of the dinos show stripes when you pick there colours However some such as acrocanthosaurus has spots. And the colours don’t actually look the same on every dino. Some dinos like the pyro and theri show feathers on theirs.

I'm thinking about making a habitat for all available pterosaur species in Northwest USA, up in the mountains, as if they claimed that as their own home. No fences, no tourists, just as mother nature intended 😃

Fun fact: This works with marine reptiles too! I don't recommend, because they stay in one place. Either underground, on land or in the air.

Just tried this on console with the latest update that makes guests not panic from free roaming creatures. Did it for a small swarm of jeholopterus. It worked and looks fantastic with them weaving in and out of the forests.

Okay so, no idea if this is gonna work. But what if you make a land hatchery, use the terrain tool to make water in front of it, and then release lagoon animals there. I wonder if they can detect use that water to swim in it. I kinda doubt it. But it seems worth a shot.

She isn't using mods. PC players don't need to select a building type in the world creation menu, they get every building from every era of the Jurassic franchise. It really sucks that console players don't have it.

this is so helpful. i had a one dome aviary and released flyers and had high escapes on and some didnt fly out like others had broke out so the done was full of holes and i still had some dead in the dome cause they starved to death

I have to say my favorite dino period is the raptor, i love watching them. I set up a map that is dinos roaming free with the buildings inside the fence and the dinos hunt and live off of each other as they would've in the real world, and i will legit fall asleep watching the raptors be free

Park idea: Make a ultra realistic Dino park such as adding a car park or adding only a ranger path for only your rangers or even adding things such as eating shows. Hope you like the idea.

Odd question i have had with this trick, if you release a regular dino into the aviary, will a carnivore starve via normal gameplay as in the ranger team can't enter to replenish it?

Carnivores who can't hunt goats will starve. All dinosaurs will eventually get sick and die because they can't be healed

JP ERA aviaries let u hear the prehisotric animals inside it but JW ERA aviaries don't for some unknown reason and in my case DFW aviaries, the dinos make sound but are very quiet

Just found out it works with aquatics as well. Try it for yourself! But they just stay in there cuz apparently the hatchery is “blocked by dinosaur”. But they release after a while. I does the exact same thing as the land Dino’s in the lagoon and they just float there. Looks goofy

ALS je de lagune kunt verwijderen (it denk dat het spel de dino als een obstructie ziet en het niet toe zal staan), dan zullen de dino's gewoon weer gaan lopen. De reden dat ze stilstaan is omdat ze in een volume staan waar de code niks mee kan. Zonder lagune staan ze in het correcte volume en zal de codering weer werken.

To be honest, why not just airlift them from the aviary hatchery? For some reason it just, lets you drop them off outside of an aviary, and either way you need to build an aviary hatchery.
