I’ve had 2 laparoscopic surgeries to remove ovarian cysts, I thought the pain and heavy flow would stop, honestly it didn’t. 3 weeks back I went to a Gynae due to pain and heavy bleeding, she found a number of fibroids, she said she could remove them and I refused. She did a Pap smear and the results came back not looking good, I immediately had to have a procedure to remove what could possibly be cancerous cells, i had 2 procedures, Colposcopy and Lletz. I experienced the worst bleeding and blood clots of my life last week Tuesday, my pad would literally soak in 10-15 minutes, and the blood clots were so scary. Since then I’ve been wondering if I shouldn’t have opted for a second opinion. But in God I trust for complete healing.

Such a triggering topic. I lived with fibriods for 3 years. Blood transfusions, bleeding through taxis, physically struggling to do everyday things. And for 2 years it was undiagnosed. The year I had the operation I was bleeding everyday, I would take 6 pain killers a day. The pain I felt was unbearable, I was so isolated. The Dr who helped told me to get help or I'll die. Gynaes rejected me due to the location of the fibriods. Yes, the operation was different, but only Dr and nurses were worried, I was okay. Listening to her story makes me feel so lucky and I have so much to be greatful off. After the opp I walked out the next day on my own two feet, no assitance to the car, not driven by me. Till this day I have no bleeding. This is atleast 5 years later. I have alot of emotional and physical scares from the experience. Alot of digestive problems. This young beautiful lady is so brave. I hope and pray God heals her entirely and she tells her story and it helps many more people.

In 2018 I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism, stayed in ICU for a good two months and I had to take warfirin tablets for 6 months. As I got discharged as an outpatient I had to go for blood test every week for INR. What triggered the clotting of my blood was Contraceptive pills. 2021 fell pregnant with my second daughter and clots resurfaced again but I was then put on Ecotrin my baby is now 4 months. I had to take Claxeme injection after being discharged from hospital after the birth of my daughter. Sometimes I wake up with bruised clots in my legs it's scary but we soldier on. Strength to everyone who are struggling with their health.

yhoooo! this is scary. she has been through so much and it's painful that she has that huge scar and nothing to show for it really. I pray that God can heal her completely and she never has to consult a doctor for her digestive and reproductive health. It's important that we pray guys, pray for our lives and ask God rebuke the devil so that we do not die prematurely. When I listen to this young ladies' story I really see THE GRACE OF GOD over her life. it's so clear that the enemy was hovering over her, trying to snuff out her life but God said No!!!!! what a testimony. my dear, you are healed in Jesus name and no weapon formed against you and your future children shall prosper. pray for your womb everyday, lay hands on yourself and speak LIFE over your body. God is faithful to complete your healing. stay blessed dear.

My sister was diagnosed with fibroids when she was 3months pregnant. The doctor told her that she will need to have a C-section coz she had multiple fibroids and 2 being the largest (I don't know how many cm). When she was due they sent her to a referral hospital to undergoes her C-section, there, a specialist told her that they can not operate her coz were they are supposed to cut for C-section there is a big fibroid and that she just have to big birth naturally. 3 days after giving birth she started experiencing some breathing difficulty. They doctors have been quiet about it until one doctor told us that the fibroids are swollen cause by labor and that they were pressing her respiratory system. Some doctors were saying she had TB coz she have water at lungs, she was even given the TB medications which was wrong to do so since they knew she had fibroids. Her situation started getting worse, starting with swollen feet until it goes up to heart. She died 3months later. She left her healthy baby girl, now 6 years. I'm just glad Rixo survived this. It's not easy surviving such..

Owh my God Maria I'm so sorry. May your sis Rest in Peace. My friend only realized when she was 2months pregnant that she had 2small fibroids and a big one of 7cm. The Doctors (gynecologist)made it clear that, they can't operate as she was pregnant but she will need to give birth by C-section. But they also warned her about the disadvantages and even said if she wanna continue with the pregnancy, she must be aware of the complications. They said others even loose their lives or the baby. But others can also make it. While confused like that, she had a miscarriage. Then after she removed fibroids. So your story is touching me. These fibroids can be so dangerous depending on their sizes and where they are situated. It's even worse that after operation they do come back after some time.I wish the government could make it affordable for women to get checked or just make it free of charge. Many women in our country are suffering from things like this and uterus cancer, they become aware very late. I think we must normalize to check our girl children and ourselves for these things atleast once a year or twice.I'm so sorry for your loss, May God be with you and her child.

I always make I go to Dr's that are recommended by people but sometimes even the best Drs don't deliver but recommended Drs are best. What as women we go through is beyond. The big one was removed in August 2020. Little did I know the type of cyst meant that I would have to part ways with my right ovary. The Gyne didn’t inform me then, I only found out three weeks ago that I only had one ovary and a cyst right next to it. Which is giving me back and pelvic pain.
