Relegation trapdoor for Dartford!

Six pointer between Dartford and Eastbourne with the Sussex side coming away as winners leapfrogging the Kent side out of the relegation zone. Are Dartford running out of time, will they be relegated??

As someone whose just started as Dartford on football manager… this video really helped bring it all to life for me! Thank you keep up the great work 👏 (first season we got play offs but knocked out in the semis by Chelmsford 😢 we’ll get them next year!)

A series of extremely poor decisions by the board, beginning with the sacking of Steve king in May 2022 caused our huge decline. The others include: Appointment of Dowson Putting in a no u18s without adults policy that. Not getting rid of dowson in September. Waiting nearly 2 months to appoint a successor. Dowson's shocking tactics and squad, as well as the no u18s without adults thing was a huge issue that killed our attendance figures, we made a loss for the first time in ages in the 22/23 season because of this, even though we came second

Couldn't agree more with you, I have never left a game early no matter what the score was but was very close to going against Eastbourne. Dowson did us no favours, Sacking Steve King was a shocker.

@@mattthegroundhopper9242 3rd rebuild this season. Team looking strong and we provided a strong away performance. Last year under bloor we had a very good team that played on the front foot. At the start of the season he went and we got Millwall legend mark Beard in charge, and he had an impossible job, as we left it too late to go full time so most players were signed up. We settled for a large majority of step 3 players who are now gone. The only player from last season is Brad Barry, who is the club captain. We've got a strong physical side now who will fight to the end. I would say if we started the season with this team we would be 12th or so around there. Still, many twists and turns to be had come the end of the season. We have to rely on Taunton to mess up. But they look dead and buried and haven't paid anyone since the first of the new year. Regarding form, we're 6th in the league and have 11 points in six games. Next game is at home against a manager less Weymouth side who I can imagine are happy to see the season out . I believe if we stay up we will build on the team and be up there next season. Going to be tough, up the Sports

Was at Dartford a couple of seasons ago in a pre season friendly with Millwall. We ( the lions won 2.0 and there was over 4000 there that evening. I remember being impressed by the whole set up, and they looked a decent side. Here’s hoping they can turn things round quickly. 🤔🤔🤔

Always prefer relegation 6 pointers ….tend to be more tense and you usually know early on in the season whose gonna be in a relegation scrap

Hi Matt. Really enjoy your videos. Bet your glad you didn't go to Harrogate. The relegation games are a real nail biter, especially the drop into non league. I'm a Gills supporter living in Norwich. Watched Dereham play Harleston today. Proper football, dirty, 2 sending off, crap referee and Dereham lost. Keep up the good work. Dave.
