Reliability Run by the River City Coupe & Roadster Club

The 2023 Reliability Run by the River City Coupe & Roadster Club of Victoria, Australia consisted of over eighty old school rods this year to take on the winding tracks and roads of outer Melbourne.
The video starts with good mate and fellow photographer, Jimmy and his 32 coupe aptly named Deco Deuce thanks to the art deco styling of this flathead powered hot rod.
Jimmy did the wheel work throughout the journey although we did jump ship into a cool 32 Roadster which granted us the freedom to raise the camera around. Thanks to Mark, the driver of good mate Gom's home built hot rod, we were able to get some great vantage points.
There were a number of stops along the way allowing us to stretch the legs and film some of these traditional rods up close.
This is a laid back clip for that easy cruising vibe and flat head powered feel we all aspire to in life.

Beautiful cars! Growing up and living in Southern California we see a lot of nice ones. I would like to of heard more from the owners and what they are running and back stories of the cars. Beautiful cars for sure!

I love your videos. Please tell me, most of you fenderless cars have cycle fenders, but not all. I'm guessing you have a fenders law. How do some get away without?

Thanks Rod. Yes, our laws stipulate that we must run guards but running without them looks much cooler so the owners just run the gauntlet without them. Our cops are busy chasing the young blokes in later model cars and leave the Rodders alone.
