HDFC Bank Q1 result is good and is much better than the market expectations. Previous quarter HDFC Bank has a one time income of about 950 crores from the sell of one of its subsidiary unit that Basant ji has not considered in his analysis. HDFC Bank has shown good quarter by quarter growth after taking out of this one time income of about 950 crores from previous quarter.

During the conversation, I got to know a few details... 1. On the basis of quality, customers' satisfaction with Amaron is better while Exide battery has more complaints post buy. 2. The payment period is less which is only 10-15 days while the excide has nothing like this ..which improves the debtor days. 3. Customer coming back for Amaron is more than that of excide 4. Margin for the dealer is lesser compared to that of Exide. 5. According to the dealer he prefers Amaron more than anything as the post selling complaints is less. Please let me know your thoughts on Amaron.

BM Sir, we have some connections into the Ambani family & while discussing their lavish wedding & the import of all these American celebrities (paying them millions of $$$ per appearance), I was told that this 5000 Cr spent will give them a huge exposure to American eyeballs. Almost all US media houses have been saturated with Ambanis and now everyone knows who they are. JIO MOBILE will have some direct exposure on the NASDAQ whenever they split out of RIL. This will give it US type valuations & not the chindi valuations we get in India. Let's see how this plays out (source is very reliable but I don't expect anyone else to believe them).....
