Amazing guide. I always share similar information with guild mates. Just so you know, the best node of you ARE farming r8 materials is Light Side 9-F. It has both the bayonet salvage for r8, but mk3 Halo salvage as well. Also in conquest, spending currency on gear is about HALF the price of buying the equivalent relic materials.

For Chromium you can buy the 5x MK 7 BlasTech Weapon Mods in guild store for 150 currency. It can show up in bottom left gear slot. In these same slots bottom left and bottom middle there can also be several gear pieces 5x for 100 currency that can be used for Bronzium (same value as MK 5 Fabricated data pad) and Carbonite (but Carbonite one are definitely not worth). Some gear for Carboninte can now also appear in Squad Arena shop in the upper right spot where the gear is.

I usually buy the carbonite(actually bought them with the christmas' offer so 600 for 100-300), chromium you can buy 5 full mk 7 blastech for 150 guild coins I usually farm ls kyrotech node or ls 9-F(bayonet for r8, some carbonite pieces and mk3 holoprojector) so this node is a major go for almost all the important relic pieces

Great tips though I wouldn't say buy r8 and r9 stuff in shipments but do ship refreshes. 3 refreshes gets you around 10 gold/yellow gear salvage which is significantly cheaper than buying 25 salvage for 875 crystals. Plus the g12+ fusion furnace node on fleet for example has other gear you van salvage as well

Very solid rundown of what's basically the majority of the game. The next step (implied in the video) is that if one node (for example the LS1C CCB node) provides less savings vs shipments than another node (eg. the amazing LS7B bronzium/kryotech node)--it means the less efficient node should be skipped if you are considering time to be a factor (and the loss of arena crystals to GAC means that it is probably always a factor). Farm the more efficient node, buy the less efficient node's drops in shipments, because skipping the less efficient node allows you to have more crystals to use in the more efficient node (and therefore buying shipments rather than farming is actually saving crystals). It took me a while to realize this, because of course farming both nodes would provide the best savings for a certain end goal, but if you want to get more signal data faster in this case, prioritizing nodes is the answer (similar to the cantina character shard explanation).

For R9 i advice to farm MK 12 Furnace, because same node gives material than can give you little bit of Carbonite and Bronzium.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or considered, but I always purchase the gear in Row 2 / Col 3 of the Shard Store when I can afford it. Pretty sure Slot 6 only drops the following: Cybernetics, Wrist Band, Visor, Armor (can be crafted into Electrium Conductor), or Bayonet, Multi-Tool, Medpac (can be crafted into Impulse Detector). The only really useless component that shows there is the Tactical Data. That slot also is the cheapest Mk 12 gear, at a rate of 4 for 360 SS currency.

Great guide. When it comes to carbonites for relic 1 we’re not supposed to be farming those, according to CG they should be available through normal game play but they are aware of the issue for some players running out. But as always I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for them fixing that shortage.

Well... I ran out of them already last summer. Two months ago I ran out of chromium. Only bronzium is still going strong, but even here I see my supply slowly dropping. So if CG here planned for them to be available from gaming, they f... up again.

Others pointed out that the guild store purchase is better for chromium transistors, I never have a problem with them since buying there. I also buy some of the green pieces there for wires but they are a mostly terrible deal unfortunately. I also like to try and craft as many wrist watches for electrum conductors as I can because you the mk 6 carbanti can only be used to craft those watches so it's not really wasted imo and you get a lot more salvage if you have fully crafted pieces to break down. For impulse detectors I farm the bayonets because the node gives a lot of other good salvage for relic mats, but I'm typically buying the salvage as often as I can to convert with GET 1 and shard shop currency. I also feel that it's almost always a waste to farm carbonite board salvage specifically. I feel it's better to consistently buy those with crystals when absolutely needed and instead invest your energy into farming kyrotech (which also gets you wires as you pointed out) and the bayonets (which gives an assortment of various salvage for various relic mats) The cost saving on kyrotech is amazing compared to the meh cost saving on carbonite boards, and we are always going to need hundreds of kyrotech.

For Aurodium Heatsinks, I also use Mk 7 Merr-Sonn Shield Generator as I regularly get salvage from raids and other guild activities. I keep around 100 salvage in reserve, just in case a character needs it.

If you’re in excess on conquest currency, the high blue and green signal data are a good buy. For example, if you have more than 2820 conquest currency at the end of conquest, you’ll overflow before the next conquest character node comes up. Anyway, just another option to pick up some reasonably priced signal data, just don’t go crazy and forget to unlock your conquest toons 😁

You can craft anything directly from scavenger , idk if it was possible back then. You just keep the click a big longer and will bring the crafting screen

MK 7 BlasTech Weapon Mod is the same as Mk 7 BAW Armor Mod for transistors, right? Also craft for Ugnaught g5 or in your case Kit Fisto g7 (?)

I'm a longtime player, just hit 9mil GP and have 5 GLs, and currently working towards Jabba. I have a stockpile of Aeros that I've saved up since relic 8 dropped, but have a hard time getting a couple other pieces with the new currency system. What's your opinion on best ways to get Zimbiddles and especially Impulse Detectors? I'm holding off on gearing for the moment so I can use the gear in Scavenger to get the detectors. Need 7 more to get Han to R8

@@cfrun02 Bit Dynasty has a great vid on negotiator mirror where the enemy has a faster capital ship. Made it so I could climb to no.1 in my fleet shard with only a five star Negotiator. R8/R9 are a little trickier sometimes but still pretty consistent (at least more so than rebels tend to be)

Great summary with regard to crystal costs! But I think an aspect you did not touch on is time. If you stick to 100 crystal refreshes for Cantina and 50 for Light Side/Dark Side, it will probably take you 3-4 days longer to get those items compared to buying them in shipments. I feel like that's also something to consider... So if you put it into context, saving 300 crystals also expedites the farming by a factor of 3 days... sometimes it's worth it IMO.
