yup, i noticed about half way through the vid that I had used the white skulls when i should have used the green frogs and fixed it during play :)

This was really clear! I watched 2 other video reviews hoping to be able to learn how the game is played but I feel I only got a portion of the gameplay from those. With this I feel I know basically everything I need to start playing.

you can also place pathways with tools and some temple abilites as well. but you don't get them by simply moving. imagine that's just you blinding walking through the jungle, never getting your bearings, never learning the terrain. you have to stop and spend some time exploring around the ruins to truly learn the pathways (i.e. put a trail marker down)

Just a quick note - when you first explored your first purple place - you pointed to the purple that was adjacent to your current place - you couldn't do that as the tile specifically states either a blue, white or ruins

Played last night and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to try it with 4-5 players. Thanks for the video. Made it really easy to get into the game.

I'm doing as you advised and I'm currently adding a theme description in my rulebook for everything. Great advice. Thank you!

Continue loving your vids Richard, another great walk through giving me enough info and reason to purchase a game :)

I'm almost positive that the crystal skulls go on the white temple sites not the green relic sites. That's why there are more green ones than any others. Otherwise fun play-through.

Very nice storytelling on the Relic Run Richard! Now my problem is that I want the game!

I can only move in a unfamiliar trail before or after move to a explored trail? Can I move in a explored trail stop in the middle of the chain and go in a unfamiliar trail? Or I have to go all the chain way and after past the last pathway I can move an unfamiliar trail? Did you understand my question? I hope so... o.o

the best way to describe it is in the rules here: cdn1.daysofwonder.com/relic-runners/en/img/rr_rules_en.pdf there's a picture on page 4 that shows exactly what you can and can't do :)

I see, but, I can stop in the middle of a familiar trail? Or if I go to a familiar trail I have to go all the trail until the end of that chain of familiar trails?

Rafael Borges you can stop mid trail if you like :)

Not really my type of game, but I can see it is the less stressful cousin of "Escape!" By virtue of this, I already prefer Relic Runners.

Actually, you CAN explore an adjacent purple from a purple temple that has the #7 tile on it...the rules don't stipulate that the adjacent tile cannot be purple, only that it must be a temple or ruin.

Relic Runners looks nice but $50 is too expensive for a game like that imo... :(
