I still think this is one of the greatest praise/love (love song to God) songs ever written. 13 years after listening to it it still effects me every time I listen.

What LOVE the FATHER has for us that He would send His Son to die for our sins so that we can live eternally as co-heirs of Christ! Praise GOD! My heart weeps when I hear songs like this and I am reminded of the ugliness of my sin and the blamelessness of Christ and His suffering on my behalf. Such a precious song

My dad passed in 2005, and when I graduated high school in 08' I enlisted in the army. After the 3rd or 4th week of basic training I had been going to Chapple, mainly to get out of extra cleaning duty, and to write my girlfriend at that time. Anyways, when the church band played this song in the closing part of service it really caught me off-guard, I cried like a baby, more so than when my dad died, I cried thinking how in the wake of my own lifes tragedy I had shunned God 2005 to 2008. In his infinite forgiveness I've lived since then knowing my family still lives blessed and loved by him.

When I was 15 years old I’ve listened to this song for the first time and I didn’t know what a relationship with God could be like. I’m 26, I still listen to this song, but now I know what I’m getting myself into. Thank you very much for this simple and beautiful worship song! ♥️

This was one of the first songs I learned on guitar, from this band which is one of the ones that initially inspired me to learn the instrument. Why I learned it as a beginner player was not thought out lol it was hard! It's so beautiful...but Matt definitely sings it better :D

The biggest goal of AA (and the cure to alcoholism/addiction) is to have a spiritual experience and give your life to a higher power. Im here reminding myself of what I want that to look like. Most days I still want to be in charge. But I'm not. Regardless of what I think.

#1737 I remember going to youth group as kid - and my youth pastor would use movies as sermons. He started his sermon with “The Matrix.” Red pill blue pill scene with Neo and Morpheus This was like 20 years ago, my pastor told me to count the costs of following Christ. Luke 14:28

When I made up my mind And my heart along with that To live not for myself But yet for God, somebody said Do you know what you are getting yourself into When I finally ironed out All of my priorities And asked God to remove the doubt That makes me so unsure of these Things I ask myself, I ask myself Do you know what you are getting yourself into I'm getting into you Because you got to me, in a way words can't describe I'm getting into you Because I've got to be You're essential to survive I'm going to love you with my life When he looked at me and said I kind of view you as a son And for a second our eyes met And I met that with a question Do you know what you are getting yourself into I've been a liar and I'll never amount to The kind of person you deserve to worship you You say you will not dwell on what I did but rather what I do you say I love you and that's what you are getting yourself into He said, I love you and that's what you are getting yourself into
