Staying true to themselves in an industry that doesn’t want that. Their reward will be much greater than money or fame. Very special.

koriethegiraffe You and me both! I'm turning 24 in less than a month here, so we are about the same age, I think I'm slightly younger. But I've liked them too for just as long. I'm looking forward to all their new things that will come out.

I think we need more Christian artist who will bravely write songs about the darker side of things but bring Christ to them or course. Show how God pulled them out of the holes people can and have fallen into and show just how amazing and powerful Jesus is and how He can save people - "convinced that angels nor demons or anything else can separate us from the love of God and Christ Jesus".

@jthomas5o1 Agreed. I love the earlier albums the most, but man some of those lyrics were cringe worthy at best. I almost feel embarrassed listening to em today. Top notch musicianship at times though.
@JQBMusicandTutorials4 жыл бұрын
@jthomas5o1 We need writers who go about their craft with compassion and sensitivity to the world their music is going out to. It makes me think that it's good for artists to make music that sounds like the current style so it can connect with the present moment and people. At the same time, seeking to be the best artists they can. It's a big job for sure.

The interviewees were very gracious to the interviewer. The interviewer was probing for good answers. He acted like he already knew them, even though everything he went off of had to do with the information and even controversy surrounding their public image. Huge problem. But Matt, Matt, and Jon were very patient and gracious.

16:30 When I record songs, when it's really hummin', it works like this: You listen to the song that exists, and you will hear something that doesn't exist. It's like one voice added to all the other sounds, and sometimes it's weird, and sometimes it's really quiet, and sometimes it's really loud, and you have to hear it and figure out what thing makes a sound like that and how to make that sound on that thing and record yourself making it and then you listen back and you'll hear something else. My word for them is "angel voices", because it sounds like some Archproducer angel is soloing angels and groups of angels in some song that they're already singing, and they have to dumb it down 1000% so I can even comprehend any of it. Sometimes you hear a bunch of the song all at once and it's a little too much, but that's usually how the overall message comes at fist. I'm very slowly getting better at each individual part of that. It all starts with a title, of course.

It's really sad how "Christian Music" denies Jesus and supports homosexuality. It's their obsession. No other issue, no other faith, captivates these artists like homosexuality does.
