@@lindali1250 Thankyou for your comment. Yes once again there have been a few typos in the video upload. Its an irritation as the video editor we use does not have spell check and sometimes these errors slip by and are noticed when uploaded. We will continue to be more vigilant in the future. Stay tuned for further Catholic Content and God bless.

Great insightful content. I would say 90% of all wars throughout world history would be caused by worldly humanistic ( atheistic ) endeavors. The last 10% would largely be caused by Islam without a doubt. That would leave Christianity having, I would say, less than 5% at most, being the cause of any atrocities and wars. I beg you to differ.

What makes religion problematic is the Euthyphro dilemma. If morality is based on divine authority, then it begs the question whether the divine authority commands it because it's right or is it right because divine authority commands it? Too many people assume the latter which is why religion has too much blood on its hands. Being a Protestant who acknowledges the horrors of Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot but who also thinks the Catholic Church has been discredited by the Inquisition, Franco, Pius XII and the unending pedophile scandal I thought your video oversimplified the issue. The late Christopher Hitchens had a valid point when he said religion should have more dignity than splitting the difference between their atrocities and the crimes of secularists.

Thankyou for your insightful comment and it is appreciated although your last comment regarding Hitchens I would disagree. "The Church" in the past has been hammered by secular society and the MSM for what it perceives as past evils, time and time again. I think they have been made accountable. Even when the MSM use false information and stats to push a false narrative. With regards the pedophile scandals - There has been research that shows that there is no evidence that the church exclusively has higher rates of this activity than any other institutions. I'm not trying to play down what has happened in the past. The church who was well meaning , took in these men and trusted them, without vetting them well enough, if at all, and subsequently, certain individuals took advantage of this, and we know what happened next. Once again, I think the MSM as always, had an agenda and tried to make the whole Catholic church look like it was a giant podophilic organization not to be trusted. The George Pell trial was a good example of this... guilty before proven innocent. The leftist MSM were telling the public that he was guilty, and then later he was found not to be guilty and released from jail. They could not find any credible evidence whatso ever. The media went silent after this when the evidence showed that the allegations were completely false. NO apologies from the media at all for destroying an innocent mans life. Just disgraceful. It was a totally fabricated witch hunt by the anti Catholic media, ... who never say their sorry for anything they get wrong.... Anyway... we could go on. Thankyou again and God Bless....
