Good on you because it blows my mind how many parents are so trusting with their kids being with men unattended. Most of these men are friends and people don't understand that's a huge reason why a lot of child abuse is swept under the rug. Trust me, these "elders" protect men like their lives depend on it regardless of the crime and it's very unnerving.

Yeah it's really sad, I went to the kingdom halls in the toledo area for most of my life. I had no idea about all the antichrist teachings and and the rule that protected predators. The GB lie all the time and through it right in JW's faces, yet regular witnesses are commanded to obey..nahh.. not me. But yeah I no longer affiliate with a specific religion. Any loving parent would immediately get out of watchtower.

I loved how this was all broken down. In the beginning of my journey, I felt like I was gonna need to eventually believe in something, but what? What do I look for? But this entire time since I left the JWs, I discovered my own power, started meditating and connected more with nature, started to feel more connected through energies, felt like my whole life before that moment was meant to happen to get me where I am today. I personally always feel a spiritual communication with God and the universe almost like a 6th sense within. Growing up jw, of course, we're taught those intuitions are not from God but from Satan. Now, more than ever, after leaving jws, I am more in tuned with my inner voice listening to this good source from God who guides and protects me. Sometimes, I'll ignore that warning, go the other way and each time I always learn a valuable lesson that my gut feelings were right all the time. This is a long read, PLEASE reach the end. The subject of suicide hit home for me. I was threatened by my grandmother who decided I would be disfellowshiped for pregnancy out of wedlock. She said if I called her I would have to tell her who I am. She could not give me a greeting over the phone due to my disfellowshiped state. I remember the sinking feeling in my gut. How lonely I was. I said Jehovah to you suicide is a sin but to be discarded, separated from all I've ever known I felt I literally had nothing left to live for. Holy Spirit saw, heard, and delivered. I was put on public reproof. My relationship with my grandmother would never improve. I later found out that my grandmother was a sabotaging Force against me. She engaged other sisters to invade my life along with elders. By this time I stopped pioneering, I stopped attending meetings as much as I once did. I kept praying and good things kept happening to me . Door's opened to better jobs. I was raising my daughter without a man. There was no proof of partying or dating or elusive behavior on my end. It seemed my grandmother couldn't stand for that. She had to dig. Her mistake was digging info from my daughter 😆😂. By this time my Precious daughter was five. My grandmother gave her scriptures to peach at me with, and you know I let my daughter do this. I listened attentively and I thank her and loved up on her because this was coming in ways from her heart due to my grandmother's brain washing tactics. After work one evening I had a respectful yet stern talk with my devout jw family member. You see my daughter exhibited attributes resembling my mother and grandmother. Neither of these two women are good mothers or role models to or for me. I had to decide wether to continue this cursed upbringing or break this curse beginning with my daughter. Well now it's time for a good old jw curse breaking. I reminded my grandmother of a scripture she had me memorize before my punishment of being closed in a dark room and her constantly chanting to me this is want it feels like to be in your grave. She went from that to smothering me, to tying me to chairs and beating me with a chained dog leash, wet extension cords, plugger sticks, broom sticks, mop sticks, we used to have a hotdog vacuum cleaner that had a long metal pole attached to it. Because I would run and hide. She would detach the metal hose and beat the front of my tibia on both Iegs. Believe me that stops you from running. My mother was no help. She was told of my abuse. She called her mother cursed her out and left me in the same situation even after I begged her to let someone else adopt me. Her response you were born a Davis you'll die a Davis. I couldn't go to the police when my grandmothers convict, cocaine driven ministerial servants jw husband beat me with his fist. I couldn't go to the elders either. If I told anyone my grandmother would lie and turn the whole story around to make me look the liar. There is no HELP FROM ANY TYPE OF ABUSE . NOT ALL WITNESS FAMILIES ARE LIKE THIS. MY GRANDMOTHER WAS and their are too many like Her and her husband. THEN I PUT THE CHERRY ON TOP. SHE WAS ONCE DISFELLOWSHIPPED. As a child I remembered the pain of it. I remembered how she was treated. And how those who did care about her used me to send messages to her. She was not leaving any breadcrumbs out for me. Getting back to proverb s, there are six things that Jehovah does hate yes seven are things detestable to his soul. And I told her towards me she has exhibited all of them and she has involved others to do her dirty work instead of asking me herself. Before she passed on my grandmother apologized for all she had done to me. I told her she was toooo Late.... I still respected her. I would not make the same mistake with my two children. And Yes, as people are passing there is a dimension where they see and talk to those who have passed. I watched my grandmother go through it with my own eyes. When I told her sister she had a hard time believing what I said to her of my grandmother. Yet one thing my Aunt who was once a baptized jw knows about Tonya, I have never, or ever had to up to this point lie to her. And she is still alive and witty 😆. She'll be ninety two this year. I'll be sixty seven this year and still I'm growing up. I do appreciate your contributions to my growth. The book the Secret along with prayer started me on my path to renewal and I'm not tired yet. I'm a Christian and belong to a non denominational church. We believe all scripture is breathed & inspired by God, not man. My pastor doesn’t profess to have all the answers. Just like the gap in time, there are many mysteries to be revealed when Jesus returns. I wholeheartedly believe in the Word of God. I do not follow man. I have peace in my life bc of this. There's a idea called the perineal philosophy (excuse the spelling) That teaches that the esoteric teachings of most religions teach basically the same thing. that God is in all and through all and yet transcends all. Ephesians chapter 4 says that God is in everything and is living through us all. And eastern religion says that "we are that which we are seeking". It's very difficult to remember that and not get caught up in our constant running on the treadmill of life

I've been watching your videos for a while and just wanted to stop by and make a comment. My mom stopped making me go to the hall when I was about 15. My stepdad was not a witness (and thought it was all hogwash TBH) so our household might have been a little different. I was always asking questions because none of it made sense to me logically, ESPECIALLY this whole "anointed" concept (especially at the Memorial), and how it was explained to me (by an elder) still wasn't sufficient. I'm also a member of the LGBTQ+ community and began to explore my identity in college. I called the local Kingdom Hall at 3am once when I was feeling conflicted, and people came to study with me and started telling me that I couldn't trust my own judgment, and shouldn't be in college and that was it for me. Never talked to them again and never looked back. I was atheist for a while, but found my way back to spirituality through other paths, but because of what they teach it was hard for me to go back to Christianity. The one thing I'm grateful for, however, is the integrity of always telling the truth, however I get WAY to disappointed in people who lie, which is very normal for everyone else, apparently.

I feel that all religions no matter what name they use all pray to A God we all have the same God it's just we all have a different name for him, Allah, Mohamad, Jahovah, wokonda either way its the belief of a higher power. The Secret! That is why I love your channel so much! I'm much older than you two. I'm 46. But I felt a immediate connection to your videos. My mom who is a hard core JW introduced me to The Secret about 18 years ago. She was trying to convince me to join a MLM. I loved the video and showed it to my husband who was already PIMO. I didnt know he was PIMO because he was afraid to tell me. I went down the rabbit hole with the secret. I researched everyone on the video. Bought their books, listened to thier KZbin channels. Everyday my husband would ask me what I learned new. Our marriage was better then than the whole time we were JWs. My mom got mad when I told her she was the one that introduced me to it. She said I was taking it too seriously. It literally caused me to wake up.

Re: 6:04 - I do believe people can sometimes intuit things or that coincidences happen, however what you’re describing at this point of the video makes me think of the beliefs of Mormons. They and other groups also believe feelings are the pathway to truth. Everything in the universe had a pre-existence. We all lived previously in another world or time. And our souls passed away. Some of those souls got saved and moved to Angel status. Our world appears to be made from something in the past based on angels in heaven fighting. God then sent them down here on a probation. To watch us. I identify as a follower of Christ. To me, it is not religion, it is a relationship. I do believe in objective truth (I have studied all kinds of religions). Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. That is what I believe. The Pharisees were religious. But God hated their fake righteousness. I love all people and share my faith. However, I do not impose my beliefs and morality on others.

I was a witness for about 20 years. I’ve been slowly fading out. I finally got out about two weeks ago. I noticed that you mentioned yoga a lot of us in my congregation to yoga. I have never once heard that demonic that’s the first time I ever heard of that, can you please explain further maybe make a video out of it? I woke up a few weeks ago and a light bulb lighted up about the difference between spiritual spirituality versus religion, and I realize that I’m a spiritual person. the Bible talks about Babylon, which is religions and it’s the religions that are dividing people I’m surprised you didn’t mention this, but when Jesus said, follow me, he didn’t mention any religion. Jesus was not a religion. It was a way of life. He didn’t say be a Methodist be a Jehovah witness be a Baptist and so far he simply said follow me. He is way of life.

Let me make it as simple as possible..the reason your math argument for their being 4000 religions is a logical fallacy is simple. All of us at one point have taken a multiple choice test before. Typically you have true or false or perhaps A, B, C, D multiple choice…just because you have 4 things to choose from doesn’t make it impossible that one is actually the correct answer. Now say it’s a math test and it’s 1+1. We know the answer is 2 but by your logic..if the test had 4000 choices to choose from say 1-4000 you’re making it seem like it’s arrogant to say 2 is the right answer even though you have 4000 options to choose from.. There’s just so many things wrong with this video and with your logic it doesn’t make any sense🤦🏽‍♂️ I say that lovingly and respectfully. The reason it isnt making sense to you is because you misinterpreted our logic. We aren’t saying every single religion is wrong but instead you can reach God through many religions. So using your example of a multiple choice question imagine it asks “which one of these equations are correct?” A.1+1=2, B 1+2=3, C 2+2=4, D 2+3=5 and so and so forth then what do you choose? God is everything and it’s all encompassing. So yes it is arrogant to think one religion is the one and only way to God when miracles and divine revelations have been documented in every religion throughout history. I’m sorry that your mind cannot yet make sense of this but maybe one day it will. I see the passion you have for this and like we said before if you are happy in your form of devotion then that’s great. We are at peace with ours and that means nobody can tell me about my relationship with God because i embody it everyday and respectfully it’s not up for debate ❤️

Not all Religions- in fact MOST religions DO NOT hold that their “way” is the only way. That concept is only found in Christianity. I am Jewish and our faith does not believe this our way is the only way. . In Islam you don’t have to be Muslim just a righteous person.

As long as I'm not hurting this planet or another person - I look for ways that connect me to the Universe. My good friend bought me the book, "The Secret" about 15+ years ago. LOVE THAT BOOK. I get the side eye when I tell people I don't believe in the bible, Christ, or Christianity. Straight Facts - everywhere the colonizers gave their bible/Christ - they stole land, minerals, resources, people, even the stink out of 💩. That's just a FACT. I can't believe they would give my Black ancestors the same "hope" in their God but treat them as animals. Even if you look up the word "pagan" - it simply means a person who holds DIFFERENT religious beliefs than the main or recognized religions. With all due respect..I don’t understand how you don’t see that you’ve just traded one cult for another. Love you guys, I’m not a Witness but know someone who is. I think you missed a key component, creation! We did not come from some random poof in the air, but instead a brilliant Magnificent Being. I’ve been searching also and I think God and has revealed himself to us in the magnificent things he’s made like our bodies they can run with fine tuned precision for many years. The universe did do that. And this idea about praying to the sun or for rain as we know the weather is unpredictable and we have 4 four seasons. Yes, what you are describing is ASTROTHEOLOGY. The actual SUN in the sky is the actual "light of the world". And the sky is referred to as "heaven". So religion translated the "SUN" of God to the "Son" of God. The sun is in the sky, which is "heaven". The 'family' of the SUN is the 12 planets, which in religion was translated as Jesus' 12 apostles, etc. Anyone can Google ASTROTHEOLOGY and come to understand how religion formulated it's beliefs for the primary purpose of control.

Homosexuality, rationally speaking, doesn't belong in those categories. The rest of those words describe inhumane acts that are done out of conscious choice in order to overpower/control/ruin/destroy someone's life. On the other hand, homosexuality is a neutral characteristic that simply defines a person that they're attracted to the same sex; a quality that someone's born with. So, when a statement lumps homosexuality with those other inhumane acts, it creates a logical fallacy, therefore insinuating that the goal of that statement in question was written to persuade a flawed opinion onto others that demonizes homosexuality as if it's an inhumane act, which does not compute. As a result, it regresses that particular divine statement in the Bible being nothing more than just propaganda against homosexuality, which makes it another basic ass opinion of some discriminating stupid men. Due to this, I could then also add that discriminating homosexual individuals impedes their growth in their own spiritual journey because it jeopardizes their opportunity to live authentically, which is not life-giving.
