J. S. Bach wrote all the spiritual music in the organ, coz his father was a Organ mechanic in the church at those times and his father plays the organ too. And thing about why Indian spiritual music only has a single singer or instrument is due to the nature of the ragas, western classicl music is harmony based whereas Indian classical is melody based, so the Indian classical pieces just have lead voice or instrument and a back up.
