six's last word is really funny the boi just said "At least its finally over..." like... my man was so tired of the slug fest he would rather just die... on a side note, that was some extremely cinematic scenario.... unexpected ambush by extremist, the admiral didn't expect the enemy to have an IED ship and got killed by one in a grand explosion. The team got rinsed one after another. One of the crew's ship got disabled off screen and the only indication that we know his ship blew up is because of radio chatter. new guy, six (already named like a protagonist) is the only thing left between his new buddies' disabled ships and the terrorist, he must face an impossible odd to come out victorious. He forced 2 out of 3 to run. Then after hours of constant fighting, ignoring the exhaustion washing over him and the ship's blaring alarm, he witnessed the battle-cruiser firing up their engine and glows bright as it rushes straight at him. He tried to use the ship's mobility utility but the ship only responded with the sputtering of broken engine. He then do the only thing he could. closes his eyes, sighs softly and just mumbled. "...at least its finally over..." with a wry on his face. Maybe add in some flashbacks of his childhood too here. Then a flash of light, everything is now black. Everything is hopeless. The terrorist won by the skin of their teeth. Then a previously thought useless side character, jumped in a supply wagon of all thing and head off to fight a battle cruiser... and the battlecruiser is forced to retreat because the interior of the ship is already creaking like a haunted house from the stress. Arc end. 10/10 would read the webnovel again. Should definitely just keep the guy's name as Six

When you're on the deploy screen and moused over a ship, you should see an option that tells you to press F1 for more info - it will show you the full details so you can check things like top speed. Also, for your crew increase, check to see if any ships got a D-mod called Faulty Automated Systems, I think it is... increases crew requirements by a massive amount (I think like 50%?) alongside the other maluses.

Mobility is key in fleets. For cruisers, I'd put safety overrides on those of them that have aggressive pilots. Takes a chunk of ordinance points, but it's well worth it. Also, you keep getting caught in away from your main fleet without any supports. And lastly I think the Luddic Path enhancement mod makes their fleet's least x2 more dangerous (and they were already very dangerous), I think they're now intended to be taken at a later date. You know, further down the play through. Great video Timo! Keep it going, never give up! WYFUS forever!

Rather then take control and pilot your last ship, I love that you basically turn into a cheerleader or a hype-man. Giving it pep talks and pleading with it, instead of just piloting it and using it to win lol. Makes for an entertaining fight I will say.

you dueling a ship larger than you is generally good since it means you are distracting more DP than your own ship is worth. That unless your ship is a killship, then you really dont want to be wasting your time baiting a larger ship around.

7:35 - Crew die when your ships are damaged or fighters are destroyed, it adds up. Especially fighter casualties. 20:50 - Did you know that there's a repeat action command in the ship building screen? I think it's by holding Shift (unless it's Alt or Ctrl) and clicking it'll buy the same item you just bought from the same source into the new slot (assuming the chosen source of legal market/black market/military market has more available). 37:55 - Honestly, at this point I'd have ordered him to retreat. He's far enough away that he could make it, the other ships would be a loss but you'd still have a heavy cruiser. 45:45 - Congratulations on managing to outlast your enemies, you lucky youtuber. 49:15 - Not really, having actual battleships in a fleet that mangled would've probably cost you close to a thousand. Under 200 is actually pretty cheap to fix.

Here's a few suggestions for ship names I'll try to keep in theme with the Northern Lights - Auraura - Solar Flare - Solar Wind - Corona / Coronal Mass Ejection - Nova / Super Nova - Pulsar - Quasar - Gamma Ray (Burst) - Comet - Blue Moon - Eclipse - Nebula This should be enough for a while ? Although I don't know considering the number of ships you're getting lately XD

"Suggestion 6" should to be renamed the "Endurance" even though it didn't win the fight, it went the distance. The fact you had to fast forward through that fight is the best example of why. As for the Juliet, how about "Unexpected", cuz no one would think a freighter would voluntarily fly into a battle and save the day.

Fightercraft can help with survivability of your larger less maneuverable cruisers. Maybe look into getting a few carriers that can stay back and provide fighter support? Suggestion six could be named Lone Wolf after the last mission in halo reach where Noble Six outgunned and outnumbered fights covenant forces to the bitter end.

Ahh, we're off to a swimming start this time around. I'm not going to give the usual essays I write for name suggestions this time, I don't feel like they're as necessary for ships unless the ship in question happens to be either very important or very storied (and in the latter case they usually already have a name, now don't they?). Personally I'd love to see the new Sunami be called the WYFUS Cloudburst, and since I feel like the Seniraja really proved itself, I'd say it also deserves a fitting name, my suggestion being the WYFUS Seraph. As always though, it's our Admiral's choice a the end of the day, and I look forward to seeing what names these ships wind up with.

Every part of the ship have separate armour, hitting one side continuously have better effect than spreading the damages around since areas with armour breach will deal hull (hp) damage. So far what I can see is you have a lot of anti shield weapons but not enough anti armour weapons, to ships with strong armour like the pirates and the ludds it is better to use heavy armour hitting cannons while high tech faction like the tri techy have shield heavy ships. Oh yeah the minoria stay away from the enemies is because it is equipped with PD weapons and long ranged weapons. Carriers have this tendency to stay on the effective range of their longest ranged weapon(s) while still in range for their fighter to strike. Btw I noticed that you rarely gives command like eliminate, fighter strike, or avoid in the tactical map. It's a good idea to maybe micro it a bit especially for flanking but at the same time I can understand the fascination of watching them fight and forgetting you are the high commander. Edit1: btw as far as my experience goes fragmentation weapons are the best to deal hull(hp) damage. Also quality captain mod makes your abilities so much better and it adds a bit more challenge when your enemies have them as well (the skills)

Yeah, I've gota work on giving orders more for sure, Ihad a few bad experiences where I ordered an attack and they tunnel visioned on it and got flanked really hard so I'm working through that a bit hahaha

Oh boy I get what you mean, happened to me as well before. Giving orders are hard to remember in the heat of battle and there are times where you need to juggle eliminate order just so they don't, as you say, tunnel a target and die a dog's death

Name Suggestion for Tankers/Freighters: Endurance and/or Mother 1, also you should look at Tariffs before selling, as you can earn abit more money when selling at places with lower tariffs and save more :)

The easiest way to fight these fanatics is to have Paragon. You simply use Paragon to rush the Capital and let it stall for time. When all the minor ships are dealt with. Concentrate all firepower and ramming ship. **Paragon is extremely sturdy and can survive ludd capital ship ram with slight damage. (Use Fortress shield at the right timing make it unkillable)

@@TimoRedbeard You can find a way to have it. If luck serves well, I remember I got Paradon in the old UAF save (before the patch). Because Nex makes Tri-Tar retard and keep battling against neighbors like the Persian League. (You can find some salvageable ship in the system with both Persean League and Tri-Tar and it has a chance to spawn free Paragon)

You really should test your builds in the simulator. Also unstable injector reduces range and Dedicated targeting core increases it. Choose either a range build or a speedy build, but dont try both on the same ship because it sucks.

Hmmm, My thinking was that the dedicated targetting core was essentially giving me the range back from unstable, so that I basically got the speed for free, and still got a little boost in range.
