The story is pretty boring, it could have been a lot better. But everything else in this game is so frickin' good that it doesn't even matter, this game is incredible. And I say this as someone who cares a lot about stories in video games.

I don't know if it would be a cool video but i think that showing her you playing a sonic fan game called "Sonic robo blast 2" (maybe even let her play the first levels) would give her a really good feel for what peak sonic design would feel like. I don't care if it's a video, i just feel like that game recently gave me back that feeling i had when i played old sonic when i was a child.

now throw the genshin player to the wolves by showing DMC5. I imagine its a mindblowing concept for a action game to have more than one combo string, a charge attack, and having your special moves not ties to cooldowns. Would also love to see a mania or Sonic 2 video, generations as good as it is, doesnt give 2d sonic justice

It was my first time trying to explain a game while making sure the recording was good. I was also explaining the game and lore a lot which is cut out of the vid so I wasn't paying attention much XD. I was playing soooo bad too. I think like later in uhhhhh planet wisp I drifted and just remembered like oh ya I should be doing this XD.

If I can be honest with you... If you're showing a new player a Modern Sonic game, lay off the boost unless it's something like the first part of Going Down in Speed Highway or the end of Rooftop Run. Long stretches that don't have too much going on. the slower speed definitely helps curb dizziness and potential motion sickness. I've learned that from experience. just a tip in case you show your friend another boost game :)

I think 2D sonic is easier then 2D mario, in mario you need to hold the run button to jump over some pits needing to press 2 buttons at once, but in sonic, it's a 1 button system, d-pad to move and a button to jump.

Ya at times it is but overall not really. Sonic is more of a constant fast paced which needs a lot more timing compared to Genshin which makes it hard at times. Nothing wrong with slower paced games, I've played Genshin too. This game was just the fastest game she's ever seen (since she hasn't played many games) hence why even she believed genshin was slower paced.

She like watching more than playing since she cares about characters and story more than gameplay. Plus its kinda hard to have her play when she lives rather far. In the future I plan to have her play but I don't have the facilities to pay for her transport at the moment. I could also have her record and me discord but I didn't wanna burden her. Not the next two videos I'ma try having her play which is gonna take a little bit longer to post the video but I wanna see how I'll organize it.

Ohhhh ok ya I see what you mean. In that regard I did talk to her before hand because she said it was too fast and she wouldn't wanna play it much but I did wanna have her test it.
