The Steeldrivers for me produce the following day dream… Full tank of gas on a 2020 Harley Davison CVO Road glide a large open road perhaps South Dakota maybe Utah on a sunny warm day with a full belly of good barbecue and a heart focused on the love of God, family, country, liberty, and my fellow American, my favorite pair of Tacovus boots a comfortable pair of jeans and my favorite patriotic T-shirt and my favorite Pandora channel SteelDrivers playing all day long. They are amazing!! I am in love with Chris Stapleton, his voice is what I grew up knowing country music is! Like George, Willie, Hank, Johnny, and so on, but the new guy is just as amazing as Chris. When Gary first joined on, it kind of sounded like he was trying to fill the gap that Chris left behind, but only Chris can be Chris. But now it's great to see Gary really settle into what really sounds like his natural groove. I can't wait to hear more.

Chris and Mike did the dope writing. The new kid is great he just needs time. I play their music every day. At least 10 songs from their list. More of the older

Gary is a bit better of a guitar player than Chris was. Chris was the voice, and the subsequent lead singers have echoed Chris, but each have also brought other qualities to the table that was their own, Gary's namely being that outstanding guitar picking, in addition to the voice. May the SteelDrivers live on forever!
