It seems like he was a victim of the industry. He was supposed to release his album in 2005 under Roc-a-fella, but was moved to Dame Dash Music Group. Disagreements and lack of promotion from the new label ended up shelving Rell's album and he initially split from the label.

Maybe best record of 21st century that should have been a smash but wasn't. Legal crap, I think. I prefer this version w/o Kanye & Consequence in the middle. Just personal preference.
