I love my RCBS press. A guy at range just gave it to me. Under the bushing is the date stamp. It was from 1972, makes it more enjoyable knowing I was 9 years old when built 😅

Mark. Thanks. That is a great testimony about the RCBS. Built to last. Mine is a bit newer than that as I started reloading about 18 months ago. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

My 9th Edition book indicates some spicy loads. Within safe. Nice loading Bobcat

Arro. Thanks for taking a look and commenting. I agree the Lee Book that I often reference says I could have gone 2.0 grains more and still been below the max. But I expect those would be some pretty hot rounds. Thanks again and I hope you have a great rest of the day.

My 22/250 55gn a-max is 35gns Varget equivalent. Works really well Thanks for posting 👋👋👋

Pilot. Thanks for viewing and commenting. I hope to shoot some of these rounds in a day or two and see how close they are to what the book says. I believe the 34.0 Gr was the starting load in the Lee book. Thanks again and take care.

I did a ladder from 33.5 up to 35.0 with max suggested was 36.0. the primers just backed out a little bit at that load and the groups were better than the lower weights at 200. Got about 4000 rounds through it, but want to go for a heavier barrel with a slightly tighter twist, 12:1. This load gets the 50gn pills fizzing, 😂😂

@@PilotMcbride Thanks for the additional information. What I like to say is you got those rounds MOVING ON! What I have will be mild compared to that. Thanks again and good luck with the heavier barrel. Take care.

Hey Bobcat, what happened to your use of that Blue electronic powder dispenser?
@bobcatforever34858 ай бұрын
Thanks. Yes, I should use that it's pretty good. If I were to be loading 500-rounds (or more) with the same powder I might use it. But I am generally loading 20, 50 and maybe as much at 100 rounds and then I change powder for the next group. It is a real PAIN to change powders. They tell you not to turn it upside down, but that is about the only way to get all the powder out. So, I just found it a lot easier to use the little manual powder measurer. Thanks again and take care.

@@jesseboutdoors I expect there will be a lot of corn and beans planted and hay made over the next few days if the forecast holds up. Hope you are able to get in some shooting, my plans as well if it works out. Have a great day.
