As you begin you will need ammo boxes, comparator set, tumbler, and as you progress you will want to check into a case trimmer, annealer, bullet puller, neck expander, chronograph. Every body dives into what ever level they choose.

Broo! Where can I get that platen and tray for my matchmaster? Also I just got the zero press it is awesome! But I have been getting some vibration feedback when lowering the ram just before the shell holder goes back down.. it seems if I pull up (like pulling the handle out while going up) on the handle while lowering the ram it is the only way to prevent it.. I've also only had it for a week

I'm new to the reloading world, why neck sizing dies shouldn't be used? Thanks.
@area4192 жыл бұрын
Neck-only sizing isn't a consistent option, as you will eventually have to FL size to get the brass to chamber, so each time you load and neck-size, the case will be a little different in dimension, then you'll need to FL size and it will be much different, and this isn't a process that breeds consistency.
@Riccardo_V_Florio2 жыл бұрын
@@area419 I need to reload 300 win mag. If I did both neck sizing and FL, what would happen? I understand that if I had to choose between FL and neck sizing FL would be better, but what if I opted for both processes? Thanks
@area4192 жыл бұрын
@@Riccardo_V_Florio One run through a proper full-length size die does everything you need. It will also appropriately size the neck. Running thorough both is unnecessary and over time will harden the necks of your brass, unless you have a consistent annealing regiment.

Do you guys sell a powder cup / tray for the Mastchmaster? I didn't think the tray from a Chargemaster would fit a Matchmaster. Maybe I'm wrong?
@area4193 жыл бұрын
CM Lite and Matchmaster are the "same" but we have seen enough variance in the receptacles over time that selling them and knowing they'll fit/work right every time has become difficult.

@area4193 жыл бұрын
There is no provision for priming on the press with a ZERO.

@@area419 Why not? That would be immensely valuable.
@area4193 жыл бұрын
@@AlbertKuris The concessions that need to be made to the core function/design of the press to allow for priming are not worth it, and in every other example of on-press priming you get a system that is lacking in some meaningful way.

@@area419 thanks for the reply. Understand your reasoning. Would be a good outcome though if an add on, between the ram and shell holder, could’ve be used. Something that’s removable so it won’t comprise the process.
