Very excited to see a great looking metallic cartridge press from MEC. My grandfather, my dad, and I have been using your shotshell reloaders for decades now, and those are great machines so I'd expect the same quality from your Marksman press as well. As for metallic cartridge reloading, over the past 20+ years I've used/owned presses from RCBS, Redding, Hornady, Dillon and Lee, and this MEC press looks like it took most of my favorite characteristics from many of those presses and combined it into one machine. In particular, I really like the visibility of the ram/cartridge, floating shell holder and primer catcher design. My only initial concern was a lack of any on-press priming system...but on a single stage, I hardly ever prime on the press anyhow so this may not matter much, particularly if the press has good leverage and is truly as smooth as I hear it is. All in all, this looks like a great product and I wish you guys the best with your new metallic line.
