It would also be nice if all zoos had one super large enclosure that they could rotate the animals through for enrichment, give them a change of space and ability to really run now and then.

They do have a lot of different options to play with and they have a lot of room

The reason they have separate enclosures is because they have different needs. And they usually have plenty of space

Yay! I’m so glad they are getting a larger enclosure! I’ve noticed at many zoos lions, despite being one of the biggest animals have some of the smallest enclosures. It truly breaks my heart. You guys rock for doing this for them!

Seeing the lions and ligers close to humans, really puts in perspective how huge they are! I can’t even imagine how heavy they are. They are gorgeous animals!!!

Is it even possible? There's no treatment for distemper and lions get it from dogs or other canines. She probably got it from a dog loving visitor or caretaker.
