too hot??? in alentejo & central portugal it's even hotter in summer...algarve is milder all year round,lol.

Just FYI - If you don't like 40 degrees plus then the interior is not good for you. I lived near Castelo branco and is between 35-43 degrees all summer, and is between 0-15 in the winter with uninsulated houses a lot of the time. Also, the Portuguese do not care about what is best for their customers haha! If you don't like it they will say go somewhere else. Much different than where i'm from :D. I've lived here 5 years and love it though, so you should find a place regardless!! :)
