Relocation of U.S. marines to Guam sparks strategic concerns

So what about real estate inflation?! If we can’t anticipate expecting these 4K Marines and 10k dependents…could we expect at least some relief for affordable home buying?! That’s been the basis of inflation for purchasing a home on Guam!!!

2012? That plan was in the works around 2008 if I remember correctly.

@buzz5969 yes , but it felt it will never happen because OUR ISLAND IS SO SMALL ... anyways i , we can only hope this move will make Guam better and safer 👍🏻🙏.

WoW so much negative activities by huge amounts of military personnel in our very SMALL ISLAND ... our island to small for a HUGE AMOUNT OF MILITARY/civilians personnel 😟🤦🏻‍♂️😞😞our island is very small😞😞😞

When I was here in the 80s the military owned TIYAN and the airport and we had Many more bases and housing areas lol. But…I wont be too sad if they dont come.

@buzz5969 we (Locals Guam) love the military in our "35 mile length (by X) 15 mile wide island , BUT OUR LAND IS SO SMALL 😟 ... i fear we are TO SMALL to have so much activities and incoming mass of people INTO GUAM ... and if something happens/occurs on Guam , would the USA MILITARY be able to save this SMALL ISLAND-property, and its PEOPLE 🤔😟🙏.

@buzz5969 do not misunderstood me , i love the presence of the military in our island , our island is just so small 😟😞. But if that's the last solution , so we ALL have to do best possibilities to make it work🙏.
