The white thing on the wall is the heater, I believe the brown cupboard near your box must open as some sort of storage. And you can sit there to wear your shoes.

The item u said that is for boiling is actually a coffee maker you put water under it and coffee on top then you boil it, its in every home in Italy and the most common thing in Italy.

The cream stuff on the wall is the heater called (riscaldamento) The one in the toilet is called bidè...that's where we urinate and wash the washables front and back😂😂😂and use the wc for number 2. I saw the colour of the buses so I knew the city. The apartment is so beautiful but pricey...omo Enjoy your stay dear,stay warm always.stay blessed .❤❤❤once again welcome to 🇮🇹

Turn the radiators on to heat up the apartment. The wooden storage box in the hallway can be used to sit on while you put on/take off your shoes.

I think they are on vacation. Which apartment gives you bed and all those stuff? They only give you fridge, counter top, washer and dryer. Some don’t even give washer and dryer you go to the public place and wash your clothes
