Does it have metal or plastic pots like the 72?
@thedjshop5 жыл бұрын
The Reloop Elite has metal pots.

@@thedjshop Sweet! Can you tell me how the sound quality is in comparison to the s9 or 72? I prefer the 72's warm sound coloring. I hope it is close to that.

@@benisilin916 I just recently got this and it's equally as good if not better than the S9 IMO as far as sound goes and that's just using RCA's, XLR being tested this weekend. Have not tried the 72 yet so cannot compare yet. However the pads are way better and more responsive than the S9 and the sensitivity pitch is key so you can almost AKAI-it if you choose to. The faders are King and smooth as well. Hope that helps.

The explanation of the mixer was great, but it would have been much more beneficial to hook up some turntables, play a track and show what each function does in real time.

Troy Ballard check out this same guy with scratch DJ Jimmy Needles (linked below), they go through everything. So impressed was I that I bought the Elite. Amazing mixer, best I’ve ever had. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpisaIGmirxlfdE Some very nice scratching in that demo.

@@kickinballistics what other mixers have you had? and why do yo like the reloop more? Im debating getting one or the rane 70, there arent that many online reviews

@@nnguyen3482 I've used the Kontrol Z2 with Traktor, and then various DJ decks such as the Newmark NS6 and DDJSX. Other than that it's whatever mixer was in the club 30 years ago. All anolgue. I'm really liking the Reloop Elite, it's half the price of similarly spec'd RANE and PIONEER mixers here in Australia, so for me it's a bargain. I used it in a home studio doing old school DJ mixes and to augment my synth hardware...which I use less and less nowadays in favour of the soft synths. Using the Elite with a Rane Twelve, which is a great combo! My advice...go try both. Seekl out a shop and ask for a demo, because the price differential is quite high, yet the features on paper are very close. The Elite is a rock solid piece of kit and I love how it's laid out. Zero regrets.

@@kickinballistics thanks, there are no shops here that carry it, so Ive been asking owners what they like/dislike about it. but this gives me some idea of what to consider. many thanks

@@nnguyen3482 Reloop have some great video's of the Elite's features on their website, so check those out. I dare say the RANE and PIONEER are excellent also, - as an Industy Standard - but Reloop are muscling in with the Elite on that territory at a significantly cheaper price. Don't read that as it being any less quality. This Elite mixer is a solid chunk of good looking tech. Trust me, I've owned synths that are 5 times this price so can compare quality build. Forget that, it's all about the features and which of them you'll actually use. The FX are great and easy to use with the dedicated faders and Hold. No reverb (unless I'm wrong), but strong FX set and implementation. The innofaders are great. Easy looping functions, allows you to access all the Serato DJ Pro features from the panel...as do the competition. I read the manual last night and more than a few times went "oh, it can do that, that's clever". IMHO most people don't read the manual and miss the real hidden gems, not covered on KZbin reviews generally. Again, watch the Reloop videos on the Elite. Tips & Tricks. I'll be glued to that for a few weeks. Good luck with your decision!
