Amazing video man! I was between this framework and Lumos. This was helpful to understand what sets each apart.

Awesome! Glad it was helpful. I've never heard of Lumos, will need to check it out.

What is the point of going from relume>figma>webflow? For example, why not just go relume>webflow? It seems like you're adding an extra step. I am new to Webflow and trying to figure out my processes. I know before relume Figma>webflow was a solid and popular method but adding relume it just seems like too many steps. Just go relume>webflow. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts.

I'd say you have a better ability to quickly experiment with different design options in Figma compared to Webflow. To do so in Webflow right from Relume, it would take a lot more time and you would likely end up adding a lot of unnecessary classes & styles that need to be cleaned up later.

@@baileycanning To add to this, it makes it easier collaborating with clients where they can comment on a particular part of the design and also approve the whole design/content before you go ahead to develop it.

Use the relume chrome plugin and turn on class sync to stop classes duplicating 👍

Thanks - that solved the problem. I had the extension active but did not realize you needed to go into the settings and turn this feature on (I thought it was active by default).

Great video! For Relume, how do you pay as you go from project-to-project or keep an ongoing subscription? For Client-First, how you do determine when to use this or any framework? Is it based on size and scope or the project?
@baileycanning Жыл бұрын
I have a yearly subscription to Relume. When it comes to frameworks, generally, I like to just have one to use, so I've been using client-first for all projects for the past few months.

can we launch a website by just buiding it in webflow coz its responsive so need of developer right? Must answer this
@baileycanning9 ай бұрын
I would say you still need a developer (or at least someone who knows what they are doing), and you still need to check the responsiveness before launching. Even though the components are built to be responsive, any changes you make to them in desktop mode can affect the responsiveness.
