You can set different ranges on it ( sensitivity) middle button has 5 different settings.

Forgive me for possibly asking a stupid question, but: what does the ionizer do? I understand it produces negative or positive ions, but how does it contribute to the investigation?

I’m still researching that honestly. In the past, I’ve used it and let it run for hours. During those times I’ve seen an increase in clarity and intelligence of the EVP I’ve captured. I have a video from Randolph that utilizes it for an ITC application session. (I’ll link it once I get the addy) I think it works, but my determining factor is an increase in clarification of activity. Clarity and intelligence, class one. I’ve seen that. Unfortunately I don’t have statistical data to say it occurs as a result of the ionizer. Like, would those EVP have occurred despite the ionization. Also, legitimate paranormal activity is sparse to begin with- organic activity, not supported by an app or the opportunities found in live voice EVP. So it’s hard to gauge the ionizers impact but I continue to use it to gather results. I’ll have to make a video on this because it’s a good question and I’ve got theories but can’t write them at the moment so they are clear. Oh and, the Ionizer is also used as an EMF emitter. So it can be used to increase the EMF of the room. This strengthened EMF can potentially be used as a medium for paranormal activity to manifest through various means.

Its interesting you mentioned this because at Woodlawn Estate, we had the rempod go off a few times on the steps. There were some bugs in the air so I'm wondering if they caused it. I'll use some of that video in the explanation/attempt to debunk the 'bug/mist/???' video from woodlawn.

What does it mean when your rem pod has been going on for more than 7 minutes...

I had this happen to a similar degree recently. I do one of the following: reset the field, reset the battery, replace the battery. If that doesn't work, check for contamination, like an adjacent phone that's using a ghost application that utilizes the components in the phone or strong RF signals (still looking into these but i've seem them set the device off when receiving signals) If none of these, your device might need repair. Check the hardware: antenna, internals, etc.
