Hi there, I accidentally put my battery in backwards in the dark and now it seems to keep beeping when I touch it instead of going off when I move away. Perhaps it needs calibration, what do u think?

They have a button that is reset on top. You could try that. Otherwise if it's a program reset I don't know about the little circuit board inside. I don't built them 🤷 Try the top reset see if that helps. Otherwise you may have damaged the circuits by putting the battery in backwards. I don't think it would, but I'm not sure.

I bought one of these on E-bay for my GF last year. she put in a 9v battery and set it up on her dresser. about an hour later it was dead.. I thought well that was a waste of a 9v battery so ... I bought a 9v power supply so it could be plugged into the wall. I added a adapter plug to the original battery connection and turned it on .................. Nothing............... so i put in another fresh battery and still nothing... I connected a volt meter, there is voltage right up to the mother board, but still nothing.... Thinking i bought a dud unit.

I was looking to buy this also, but I have been reading some reviews on amazon where some people have been having some issues with it. One light didn't work for someone. A few other people said that the antenna was rto loose and wobbly.

just bought my rempod but there s no screw for the arial to screw to at top of red acrylic , the arial is in an it works, highest sensitivity range, it makes a noise about an inch an half away,just wondered if the arial not screwing in properly will effect it

You mean the pull up antenna at the top? If so, I would assume that it would not work correctly. I am a little confused as to how you have it connected if there is no screw. We don't make them, if something is made wrong I would contact where ever you got yours. But if you just want an opinion send me some pictures of it to [e-mail] I may be able to understand better, and help you.

Please can you tell me why the little light next to the red one in the middle of the rem pod keeps going off with the red light at the same time know one can tell me what this is i keep thinking theres a fault with rem pod. Please help only just getting this device

If you mean the little light that sounds off a pitch beep, it's a temperature reading. The REM POD is getting a feel of the area before it's official use, and that also goes for the reading of the temperature of the area. It will go off with a +1 reading. Lower pitch with a -1 reading. You got to let the REM settle for at least 10 minutes before use for more accurate readings.

What does the red button do? What does ADTT have to do with it?

ATDD = Ambient Temperature Deviation Detection if you are referring to the red botton on the bottom of the REM Pod, that turns on and off the Temperature readings.

It says that the a ATDD power button located on the bottom of the pot allows for +1 to 5° ambient temperature detection. Is that an adjustable? Maybe not?

Nope, there are two small lights one red one blue I believe that indicates temp changes up and down. The 5 large led lights are the ones that indicates potential paranormal activity. Or just plan proximity detection.

Hi there Im hoping you can help me. I am learning how to use my Pod however decided to use it recently. I pressed every button like a child pretending I knew what I was doing. When I asked a spirit if they were there, the red light at the centre lit as the device screeched. When I told it to stop, it did. When I used this device in the past (before playing with all the buttons) a green light would shine and a high pitched sound could be heard. Did I do something to my device? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

Typically when we get the red light in the middle with loud scream it means that something is actually touching the antenna. Either one of us or a bug or could be paranormal. The fact that it stopped on command is interesting, we usually have to turn ours off and back on again to reset it. Most of the buttons you can press as you wish they just zero your pod. Sets everything to normal. The REM range is how far your device will reach to pick up spirits or energy. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions we will answer as best we can! :)

@@WisconsinCAPS Thanks so much for your answer. I appreciate it. Yes, as I mentioned, I told the "spirit" touch the pod and it went off. Then I told it to stop and it did. A few moments later I asked the spirit to do it again and once again -red light horrible high pitch sound. When I said thank you please stop, it took a second longer but it did stop. I had the spirit box going at the same time however the Pod was about 4 feet away from me. I picked up a voice saying " I just wanna touch it..." and the pod went wild. I filmed the event on my phone. Thanks for the offer. I will subscribe and keep in touch. Again, appreciate it.

I bought one just like this and I think I got ripped off. I sent it back once because the antennae was disconnected. I tried to get a refund, but they didn't want to risk an alleged "attachment" coming along with it, which I think is bullshit....but that is neither here nor there. I've only had it a couple of months and 3 weeks out of that, it flat quit working. I tried to figure our how to take it apart to repair, but noticed something is loose inside and it rattles around when I move it. I took the four screws out that held the battery platform in place, but was tightly attached and I couldn't lift it up to see what was loose and rattling around in there. Any ideas? I bought it for 170.00 off of ebay and I just simply got ripped off. Got any ideas I can try?
