Man, if there are people who ship such toxic relationships of a lot of couples, this certainly does not fall within them in my opinion. I consider that this couple could have ended well, that is simply how the story and its drama were raised, but it has been made clear that both Sovieshu and Navier had a beautiful relationship. The fire simply went out like any relationship. Very good reaction, maybe the dialogues are a bit fast xd

⁠@@lilylorenzo9020it’s different because the emperor’s most important duty is to provide an heir for the throne and he was basically doing that because let’s be honest, if we see the time period they live in is fairly normal for the emperor to get a mistress so that he can ensure the royal bloodline (and the fact that women weren’t as respected as how they are now, let’s remember that men used to think of them as just wives who would ensure them of children and a home, this is similar with Navier, but it’s just only after Rashta is known to be pregnant that her position as empress is endangered as her only duties are to have children and to take care of the empire along with the emperor), the only mistake Sovieshu committed was to not ask Navier first as concubines/mistresses have to be chosen based on their backgrounds and more importantly for political reasons to ensure the safety of the empire, the mistresses are chosen not just by the emperor but by the empress too as they are the ones who take care of the empire, and by declaring Rashta his mistress he was trying to do his most important duty as the emperor, that is to have a child
