Episode 3 of animation coverage is finally here. This video is not my proudest creation, but due to the content drought, I wanted to upload something relatively quickly. This is due to the fact that half of my Dawnguard Remaster footage getting corrupted, hence why that video has gone MIA. I will just need a bit more time to get everything sorted, so until then, we'll focus on regular Skyrim modding coverage. Q: "What armor are you using at -insert timestamp here-?" A: Feel free to leave a comment, I do read all of them, and I will make sure to respond as soon as I can. Q: "Mod List?" A: There are 2 visual overhauls on my Discord that you can access, with a guide holding your hand from start to finish. It's what my own work in progress mod list is based on. The mod list used in this video is currently private and will be released some time in the future, once I feel like it's a complete product. Q: "Can you cover console mods?" A: Sorry, but most likely not. Technical capability for consoles is very limited, and my main focus is on PC. Q: "Where is the Dawnguard video?" A: Don't even get me started. This video has had many setbacks, and just when I thought everything was done and could finally release it, a bunch of my footage got corrupted during one of the import processes. Luckily, the process of recovery was mostly successful, but my entire project is screwed up. And that requires more time to sort out, so at this point, I'll stop promising release dates, and just say that it will be released when it's ready. I installed a modpack called "Eldergleam". The video kinda looks like it's using that same modpack, or atleast a ton of similar mods. It makes the game look amazing. It basically sets out to make the game look next-gen with graphics and installing all the necessary frameworks and plugins you need for stuff like this video, giving you complete freedom in what you want to make your game feel like without having to worry about graphics mods, dependencies, conflict resolution (for the most part) and having to install a ton of required mods and having to set those up yourself. I've just spent like 2 hours researching animations and as long as you're reading the descriptions carefully to check for incompatibilities and install any required mods not already in the modpack (and trust me, most of them already are), it's basically just click and play. I have never had so much fun modding. Can highly recommend

@@ATBojackson17 Yeah you need to do a fresh install. Remove all of your mods, everything in your folders and even your saved games, as they will also cause conflicts. There's a whole guide when you look up the mod that tells you exactly what you need to do but it's really easy and way better than anything I could manage to put together on my own

@@ATBojackson17 This modlist was set up with the intention of players being able to add mods to it. It's as easy as dragging those one or two mods into the organizer, checking the checkmark and 9/10 times, it works without needing to do anything about conflicts and stuff. All the framworks are already installed. What mods exactly do you want to have?

Hey everyone! I still use FNIS, I'm planning on switching soon probably to OAR but, rn I'm trying to tweak my current list of mods. I'm sitting right around 440 (last play was at 420😉) I love this community and I think that Skyrim is likely to hit another giant growth spurt in modding capability and quality. I'm genuinely happy seeing things like Mantella, I'm hoping figure out a decent list for now. My main focus on modding the game consists of: 1. Immersion 2. Gameplay 3. Graphics (technically first) 4. NPC's 5. Dialogue & Quests I'm hoping to figure out the new animation mods and update my combat and etc. I have a decent group of animation mods considering I'm still using FNIS. Thanks for mentioning some animation mods do NPC's as well. I only play in first-person with vanilla combat, so getting to know some mods that focus on the world around you instead of the player character is always a treat. The only thing I'm still actively searching for is some mods that make the NPC's more detailed without making them more beautiful.

True Faces is one of many mods with that in mind. I don´t use it, but if you want to play vanilla-style, that could be for you.

Can anyone help me? The idle animations work, the non-combat animations work, but anytime I go to swing any weapon, it just reverts to vanilla animations? When I attempt to power attack it looks like it starts a different animation and then quickly corrects to vanilla? This is driving me crazy, I have the dodge framework working, the 2-mouse speed animations, but it's just combat animations that are the problem. I use the new Pandora engine instead of Nemesis.

My only (!) dilemma is that the list is supposed to be minimal in approach. I'm off to a good start with Anvil's graphics, but I think you may have offered me too much! Maybe I can cut back somewhere else, as there are many mods here that i would call "essential"! . . . . hmmm . . . no city overhauls? . . . no "mod every little item"? No "add every npc & monster"? Aaaargh!!!!! But . . . but . . . Nooooooo!!!
