Mr John E McCollum who wrote this song unfortunately passed away in 2018 at the age of 91. He served in World War II and was an engineer for the Santa Fe until 1985 when he retired. R.I.P. John🕊️🌿

Sadly, John E. McCollum passed away on Nov. 7, 2018 at the age of 91. He was a beloved grandfather and a local songwriter, who had served in World War 2 before being an engineer on the Santa Fe until he retired in 1985. R.I.P John E. McCollum, you will be missed. 🕊️
