*Assalaam Aleykum Doctor Haifa. I kindly ask you to talk about Yemen as the first country to stand by Palestinians before many country / people did. There was a massive demonstrations all across Yemen defending Palestine. Our President Ali Abdullah Saleh may Allah have mercy on him, welcomed many refugees in Yemen on early 2000 Sudanese, Somalis, Palestinians, Ethiopians, Eritreans, and Syrians and they lived like it's their own country. I sat with Syrians and had lunch with them in one of the Yemeni restaurant and they were very happy that they started calling me (Yaa Hilwa) 😆😊 I thank Allah from the little that I did and I admire now what GOOD DEED CHARITY is doing to the people of Yemen. Why is Yemen underrated? Kindly talk about Yemen* 🇵🇸🇾🇪❤

Assalamualaykum Dr Haifaa/Sister's! I'm a victim of DOMESTIC ABUSE for nearly 25 years and now my life is completely shattered like a broken pieces of glasses which can never be put into place. It effects not just my physical health but I'm going through serious mental health problems. Along that my mother is on Dialysis and she's also going through severe depression and completely on bed. I myself being a single parent had and have variety of challenges in my life which now I'm unable to handle anymore. I request you all to please remember me and my mother in your prayers. May Allah SWT accept from me and ease my life. JazakAllah Khyran for bringing light into this underestimated topic of our lives.

Asalamu alikum. JazakAllah khair for speaking up about this. I survived domestic abuse and Allah gave me the strength to leave it with my children exactly 14 years ago. The pressure from family and the local community was immense to stay in the marriage, and when i left it was extremely difficult. I would point to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet and sought help from religious leaders, but whatever I did he would get crueller and crueller. I have since worked in the field of domestic abuse and it is everywhere affecting all nationalities and cultures. The problem in the Muslim community is the misinterpretation of the verse in surat Nisa, say a man has the right to hit his wife over anything and he can control everything. When the context of the ayat refers to extreme cases of adultery, as far as I'm aware. I look forward to hearing the further episodes of this. And Allah knows best.

I'm so sorry to hear that. You are so brave to have left and stay out, mashaAllah! I know how difficult it is. Know that it wasn't your fault. Men like these often play mind games to control us, so it takes time to rebuild your reality and sense of self. Finding a trained counsellor and joining support groups will help you unpack what happened. Allah is capable of anything, so turn to him for guidance. ❤

Dr.haifa, i wish to take this opportunity to say sorry and seeks forgiveness from anybody who is not happy or affected with the way I respond or react to what's happening on this platform...it's not rudeness or as many others taught, it's sometimes loosing hope that it may not be the people you expecting all the time and manipulators can do everything to make you thing you on right track while they already trews out to the bush.....so i sometimes react in such ways to understand if i am dealing with the right people like you...if it's only enemies who we're following me, they will not able to be patient with me my reactions...but who came for Allah's sake may not be care about reaction...

wish you’d see my comment…. Could you answer the existential question I have .????..even though I’m in my 20s and have been Muslim my entire life…I still can’t answer the question how women were made…( a lot of stories but nothing proven by the Quran) even further why we were made…cause Adam already achieved the purpose and worshipped Allah…why he developed us too ????..??.? I feel embarrassed that when girls ask me those questions I don’t have an answer..I don’t know how I was created or why…not as a human but as a woman

The question is not why did Allah (swt) create females in addition to men, that would imply that men are the standard and females are extra (originally a medieval Christian idea). But rather, why He created humans in two genders. I'd say Allah (swt) created humans as male and female to allow for love and tranquility in a way that is different from other human relationships. See ayah 30:21. He also references the creation of male and female and tribes and nations as a way to learn from one another and mutually benefit from each other. If humans were all exactly the same, we'd have no need for each other. See ayah 49:13 This is also backed up by scientific research into the genetic variety that is made possible when a species has reproduction via male and female, which is another higher wisdom in Allah creating us this way. As far as the exact mechanism how Allah created females to begin with, He didn't specify in the Quran and to be quite honest I don't think it's that important for me to know in the life of this world as it doesn't impact my actions. It's one of those questions I'm happy to save to ask Him when I meet Him inshaAllah. I just know that He created us in the best form, and that Adam and Hawa were created by His command, initially from clay. Keeps me balanced between honor and humility.
