It's so funny to think now how much Taeyeon absolutely HATED this song. To the point that she would cry backstage at the thought of performing it live. It eventually became a running gag within the SNSD camp... if Taeyeon hated the song, it was almost sure to become a hit.

This song will always hold such a special place in my heart, at the time it released I was a drummer in a metal band 😂 pop music wasn’t really on my radar, and K-pop wasn’t something I was even aware existed 😂 A friend of mine happened to share the song on Facebook, and it just immediately grabbed me, and Taeyeon became my very first bias 😍 It’s crazy this was 11 years ago, but I’ll always be so thankful to SNSD for bringing me into this awesome world of music 💜💜

GEE! The one that started my kpop journey! I remember the first time seeing this and kpop in general was at a kickback sometime after HS grad. If you haven't yet, def check out their song First Love. It was one of their last releases but is probably my all time fav of theirs.
