Excellent question... and yes there would have been some sort of evidence if there was any evidence... But he fled the scene after the violence and the simple drug test that would have showed evidence... would no longer be possible after a certain amount of time. People’s emotional reactions create cognitive dissonance issues... But people’s actions over time shows a particular consistency... what a weird series of events.
