This is tracks 2 and 3 from the 1977 album entitled "Remember Me".
Renowned Gospel preacher and singer, Earnest L. McKinney was born on November 28, 1929. He traveled thru the nation preaching and recording sermons that are popular in the religious circuit many years later because of the message and delivery. His crescendos were among the best and in demand for revival meetings as well as National Baptist Conventions. From Memphis to the Nation and beyond he will be remembered as the golden voice with a message. This Gospel, Satan's Estimate of Human Nature and Paul's Letter To Timothy are just a few of his recorded sermons. Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church 913 Thomas Street in Memphis, Tennessee was his base and the world was his stage. He passed away on June 8, 2006.

In this season of "remembrance" it is important it is important that WE remember just HOW Jesus told us to remember Him. Let us allow the scriptures to speak. And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: THIS DO (emphasis mine) in remembrance of me. (Luke 22:19) Did you see that? Also notice what Paul says: For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: THIS DO (emphasis mine) in remembrance of me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: THIS DO (emphasis mine) ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till He come. (1 Cor. 11:23-26) One more...And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. (Gen. 14:17-18) Here, the bread and wine were the symbols of the memorial of life. This is the commemoration of victory that pointed to the victory that the man Christ Jesus would accomplish for us through His death. After doing such, he would become our Great High Priest. Nowhere in the Old Testament typology or New Testament actuality was there a commemoration of Messiah's birth by God's people. There simply is NO biblical precedent for it. Christmas was first celebrated in 336 B.C. The December 25th date is associated with Saturnalia, Sol Invictus, Mithra, Winter Solstice, etc. That is why Constantine chose it. It has nothing to do with Christ Jesus.

Preach. I haven't celebrated Christmas in years. Not only did Rome start Christmas, but they started Mary worship and Sunday sabbath keeping. Constantine changed the Sabbath of the 4th Commandment in 321 A.D. from the 7th day to the 1st day. And they ADMIT that they changed it in their own literature to this very day! They believe that the pope is above the Bible. I love my Catholic brothers and sisters, but the system of Catholicism isn't truly Bible based. Thank you for understanding as it pertains to man-made traditions vs. biblical truth. It's very refreshing. God bless.

WOW, God Bless you. God is so awesome, look at HIM. This is my first year not celebrating Christmas and I don't know how I got here, but we really do know. And to my Catholic brother, I attend a Baptist church and I don't believe none of us are 100 percent correct, but when we know better we need to do better and spread the knowledge along with the gospel. Blessings to you.

@@gailtalley8037 well, one thing is for sure, there is nothing in the Bible that says the Sabbath day was changed from the 7th day to Sunday.

Unpopular Truth, I normally say nothing regarding doctrine here, as that could get quite nasty. I prefer these kinds of discussions in person. I do see why Paul preferred personal interaction instead of letters. My position on the Sabbath is quite different, but a platform like this is no place for me to discuss it.

My father was his Deacon Board Chairman when I was growing up in the 60's. We traveled with him when he did revivals in Detroit , Chicago and other places. Every Sunday my brother , his son Michael, and I , got to church with our fathers early, and the 3 of us had to sit together. Such great memories!! I can hear my father's voice in the background. What a blessing!!!!!!

I bought it and took it home to Shellman, Ga. where I lived so my father and mother could listen to Rev. McKinney. They have transition now. As of last night I was wanting to hear it. Tonight here it is, thank you, thank you. GOD is Good HE heard my pray. Cora Hudson
